/k/ has anyone had any experience with an Anderson's AM-15 Optics Ready? My buddy came to me about this deal a store nearby is having. They're going for 500$

This tbqh family. It's all probably fine, I bought one of their stripped lowers and it's plenty functional. But the stock furniture is pretty shit, and you're basically just buying it throw it all away if you replace any.

it's a gun, but for 500 you could build one from the stripped lower next to it you'd actually enjoy.
milspec lower parts kit+milspec buffer tube+ magpul furnature+complete flat top PSA or anderson upper=~500 dollarydoos.
you're essentially throwing out the stock set on a pre build if you change it, which most people do.
In response to Clinton AWB2:electric banaboo I'm slowly building up a poorfag AR with FDE mags and a stock and rail covers on a normal 16" midlegth gas barreled upper. picked up a stripped anderson lower for $50+$7 transfer a few months back because I knew this day would come.
