I did 2km with weapon + full combat gear in under 10 minutes a week ago.

I only do some light workout for about 1 h a week (i never lift, and only started with this workout 6 months ago, before that I was a lazy neet) On top of that I eat shit food and drink lots of bear.

So OP just start running. Or do any workout at all. You will get much better results fast.

I've found that a 1.5-2 mile run is a good warmup for lifting. The army fucking loves their set runs, so you ought to be able to smash that shit every day, every time you go do PT. You'll get the benefit of the cardio and the lifting as well. There's no sense in not doing one or the other.

Not trying to be condescending, but that's something grade school girls can do. Being a full grown man, it should be trivial. The inability to do something of this level either indicates you have some sort of inherent problem, or you are a champion among couch potatoes. Neither of these things bodes well for a military career.

I dont really have a plan other than that I try to get it done on monday. I just do things that I find fun to do at the moment. Training that you dont enjoy usually ends up beeing shit.

During the summer I often run 3 - 12 km and during the winter I enjoy skiing.

8 minute miles are not bad at all especially if you know you only have to do 2. Meaning you push yourself extra hard to get it over with.

I've personally been working on cardio at the nearby gym like a mother fucker for the last 8 months to lose weight and I went from just being about to do 12 minute miles to straight up 7:30 minute ones at a sprint. But I normally like to run longer to burn more cals so I do a 9-8:30 minute pace for like 5 miles. And sometimes I'll do 4 mile runs but then run twice a day. So my max recently was doing 4-5 mile runs with a sub 9 pace around 7 times on the weekdays taking weekends off to rest.

Shits worked. Used to be a 5 foot 9 manlet who weighed 195 ppunds ( but large frame so bodyfat percentage wasn't obese thank fod) and now I'm down to 168 dry.

Feels good man. I'm hoping to eventually get to 6 minute miles for a 3 mile run.

I can see that, but then, /fit/-style bulking isn't compatible with military fitness: fit to fight involves a mixture of both endurance and physical strength and getting the fuck out of your comfort zone. Bodybuilding or bulking just for the sake of it doesn't make you a good, fit soldier.
It's why military PT focuses more on circuit-style training using own bodyweight rather than just weightlifting.
