Half correct, it's no firearms in areas explicitly designated to serving alcohol. I.e. the entirety of a bar qualifies as a place of nuisance because the entire place is designated to serve alcohol, however restaurants that have separate bars in them only consider the bar sitting area itself the place of nuisance so you can legally carry in the rest of the restaurant.
