No its not, you just have to be in the right type of specialization, NDT and crane work never go away, EVER. I've got decent connections though, I grew up in the biggest oil town in Texas. Boilermakers/crane operators/riggers/NDT, that shit never stops. Oil is back up to 50 a barrel now too, fracking is profitable at 40$ a barrel, and below that they've still got to pay their leases/loans so they've GOTTA pump.

I was 235 half a year ago, but changing my diet brought that down. Now I just need to actually go work out and trim the rest off or at least convert it to muscle or something.

How do you guys work up the motivation to get off your ass and work out? I work as a crane operator from 8-5 and by the time I'm done with my shift I'm ready to pass out. I always just feel too drained to actually make it to the gym.

An army or test consists of 2 minute push-ups, 2 minute sit ups, 2 mile run. Minimum standards for a male 18 years old up to twenty something is 42 push-ups, 54 sit-ups, and 15:30 run time.

Yes no shot doing steroids is a serious boost but they do fuck you up, are mostly illegal, and are expensive as fuck.
DONT. Trust me I considered going down that road.

Just eat a lot and lift alot. Do power lifts (complex movements, low rep high weight). If you need or really want supplements get protein powder, a pre-workout, and maybe a pump amplifier/blood oxidizer (N02 black is nice). Also a nice multivitamin.

False. Your testes do indeed shrink. Not like to nothing but can shrink up to 30%. Trust me man. Just trust me on this.

There are also serious concerns with the affects on your heart, muscles, blood vessels, and brain. Especially if you are trying to get swoll (bulk up). Plus most steroid gains are lost when you stop.
>>
>>30211674
Again. No fucking shit. You are doing steroids. But it isnt worth it. The health and mental risks alone should be a deterrent. But basically once you pop the fun don't stop. Or you lose your gains.

That is generally what happens. Most people blow through the first 60 in 50-60s then spend the next 60sec doing another 10-20. Really slowly with lots of grunting.

Not usually unless you were severely underweight/muscled. Hence why they first came about in this manner. They were used as a rehab drug to fix atrophy.

And the damage can be permanent depending on how hard you go and for how long. Your body is a machine. If you pump rocket fuel in it, it will be more powerful but you can easily break it because you over did it. It really is not worth it unless you are super stick mode. Even then I would recommend eating a shit ton of food over steroids.

It also starts in my fucking stomach of all places, that's always what gets me to quit before anything else. My calves barely hurt, it isn't in my chest or my head, it's the nausea upchuck feeling which gets me.

Don't run until an hour after you eat.
>>
>>30211788
Because it doesn't take body type into account, most people who lift will fall into the obese category
>>
>>30211801
Slow down. Set a relaxed even pace, get a rhythm going. Swing your arms and fall into your steps. Increase distance at slower pace.

If your force yourself to do 3-4 miles at a decent pace, doing 1-2 miles at a faster pace will be a breeze. This is how I cut 2 minutes off my 2 mile.
>>
>>30211801
Controlyour breathing. I used to run like a 13 minute mile now I run two in the same time. Short in, force out. Breathe through your mouth, not your nose. Once you start sucking if you're trying to breathe through your nose your body is starved of oxygen and you'll cramp right the fuck up.
Also, sprints. The army does 60 120s.
Full on, balls to the wall, haul fucking ass sprint for 60 full seconds. Dont cheat yourself. Then walk for 120. Repeat 10 times or so. That'll help you run faster and will get your body used to doing more with less.

To get a perfect score on the PFA you need:
>67 pushups in a minute
>58 sit ups in a minute
>9:12 mile and a half run
There's also a tape test which fucks over some of the beefier guys.

You can nab the minimums from here; I know there's also a minimum total score you need (70? 80?) but I can't remember it for the life of me.

Yep. Went from barely passing 15:30 to 13:30. Always crushed pu/su but I could never run. Like ever. In my whole life. I basically decided at 13 that running sucks so much that if I ever needed to run to survive I would have to be the guy that turned around and fought whatever it was to the death.

Hey man, I just thank god I don't have to run that extra half a mile.

It's honestly hard to fail, but you need to be on top of your shit fitness wise to get a 100. Most commands don't care about your score all that much as long as you aren't marginal, it's high speeds and pilots where that crap matters.

This.

Bodyfat percentage is superior but trickier to estimate.

Also for any fitfags in this thread, anyone going for the six pack? I've gotten down to like 10 percent fat from 20 percent from running and some intermittent dieting and I can see some slight outline of my abs area when I haven't eaten. I want to switch to full bulking and lifting but I am unsure what BFI I should reach before I hit that goal?

Practice practice practice, push out 30 when you wake up, push out 30 before going to bed. It's all about your form, even /fit/ guys can't do them all that well until they get used to them. Watch a video on youtube about getting that right form and make sure you're BREATHING.
>>
>>30212042
Honestly? You just have to do lots of pushups. Focus on form, tighten core, do various types (wide grip, close grip, etc). You just make yourself do them. Like all the fucking time. Get up in the morning and do as many as you can even if you are a 1pu in 2min rate as long as you are doing more than you did the last time. Do them before bed. Do them everyday.

Pyramid sets work great too. So like do 10. Then do 9. Then do 8, etc etc etc

That will be 55 total.

Do that for a few weeks then up to 12. That will be 78.

Then up again. Eventually you will be able to knock out 60 no sweat.

Other guy was right about running on an empty stomach. Breathing helps but it's hard to explain how to do it right. Also, I think you're running too often. Cut back to 3-4 times per week so you have time to recover, your muscles need time to rebuild.

Also, it won't get better. You may help the nausea, but I'm the 17 mile guy and I've been running for years and I still want to quit/die at the end of my first mile every time. I usually feel better by mile 3. Running sucks, the trick is to get yourself mentally able to do it anyway. It's all a mental game.

I'm currently around 20-23% Body fat. The daily 2K run, Friday 5K and Sunday 7 mile run, along with a periodic set of Upoer and core (Mainly push ups and sit ups) have already burned most of the lard I used to have when younger. Overweight isn't the problem, body fat removal and muscle gain is.

Different anon, but having a workout buddy helped with me to some degree. Last semester for about 3-4 months I had a great routine going where I would lift 3 times a week and do cardio the other two. Diet took some work, but I was slowly starting to get in shape. I began to see muscle gain for the first time in my life and my cardio started to improve slightly (stair sprints work wonders, even if I felt like shit every time I did them). Then finals came around and I stopped going to the gym and eating right. Trying to get back in the routine right now as soon as my allergies decide to stop killing me.

Now you can stay fit while shitposting.

Bit of stubborn pudge at the gut but legs and back came special order from the gods. No gun battles, but we get stowaways pretty regularly. The only one I've seen in person involved a guy who sprinted out of a container when customs checked it, stole a jockey truck, hit a customs agent's truck, hit a longshoreman's pov and drove it into the river.

He lived, got the shit beat out of him by the longshoreman, and got hauled off by customs and the Coast Guard. It was pretty fun to watch from a couple hundred feet off the ground, though it severely fucked up the rest of the day for us.

Trying to get it to go back to where it came from. Have the cardio part down, working on the diet part, but working three days a week of lifting into my routine and keeping it there is going to be a bitch.

Nothing else is like that on me, it's just my ass and thick legs and I fucking hate it because you can't exercise it out like the rest of your body.

6"2 178 pounds

It hurts knowing you have so much fuckin gear you'll make an entire gear queer thread look like a bunch of poorfags, but you can't wear any of it

being underweight, or at a healthy weight is one of the best long term things for your health. so consider it a badge of honor

Yes I've done a couple of cycles. Two brothers, who are my good friends, are always on that shit too. One is 6'2" @ 240lb and the other is 6'4 @ 212lb. They're fucking beasts at lifting. I'm the smallest one of our group. I'm only 5'9" @200lb :( at least in the second strongest lol

>tfw planning my next cycle
>tfw cutting cycle
>tfw gonna get shredded and become retardedly strong
>them feels

Can't wait!

Anon, why would someone use a range to describe someone that can be exactly measured? I'll let you think about it for a bit.

I'm still a fatty at 240 lbs today but For the last few months dating back to august I went on a 1800 cal limit and came down from 300+ lbs. All while lifting heavy shit and running at least 2 miles every other day.

Not too recommended since I work a pretty physical job too. Gains didn't really suffer. My arms are bigger and my lifts are generally around 2pl8s now

Comming in at half way since my lean body mass is considered 150 lbs. Still a long way to go but my original goal was 190 at least since that was recruitment resrictions.
