I work at a Kroger, making minimum wage plus a meager 'bonus' for working the night shift
Been working here for 10 months now, got a fucking 5 cent pay raise at 6 months in
A guy in another department said he got a contract offer for fucking 90k installing ECM units into vehicles with a company closer to Atlanta vs where we are
I asked him if he needed workers, he said yes.

He told me to expect 35-38k salary on my part, which isn't as good as i'd hoped but it's fucking better than barely scraping by at 13k wages
It's 100% travel too. airfare, rental cars, and hotels are all paid for. No word on food budget/compensation but I'm a frugal guy anyway
He had his last day working at my current place of employment a few nights ago, so now I get to play the waiting game and telephone tag while he gets a contract written up for me.

Shit, i know this isn't a place to fucking post a blog story, but I'm so hyped to ACTUALLY GET DECENT PAY I can't stand keeping it in. Finally i'll have income to buy guns and other important shit! Whoo!

He told me the project would need workers besides himself, so there's still a good chance that I and maybe someone else will be hired. I was at the 'top of his list' based on resumes alone
