I've got ammo and accecories so it adds up pretty fast.
My mist expensive piece is my SVD. Even though I have a poorfag POSP scope on it and shoot shitty surplus with it, I have about 1800-ish on it in the gun and accecories.
On average my guns are 600-800 a piece.
I'm only at 8k and maybe 3 k in ammo. That being said I know some people on here have 200k+ collection. There was a guy on a few months ago who's dad passed and he found full autos, a 203, many wheel guns and such. Haven't seen much. I can post screen shot if ya want.

My wife and I keep a spreadsheet with fair-market costs for insurance purposes. Everything is declared (I know... don't say it) and insured.
We're sitting at $62k right now, including all ammunition, accessories, etc.

I need to audit my stuff but I'm figuring my collection is sitting around the 60 or 70k mark. My most expensive piece is a SIG 550, which as you know there's only 445 of them in the US, with a few grand gap to a SIG p210-1, zfk55, SIG 510, and semi mg34 on its tail. I also got a fg42 repro coming in in a month. It's funny because I bought my first gun 5 years ago, never figured id own close to 100. No nfa yet though.

I've been meaning to take more recent collection pics for a while, but I've found that category pics don't work as well as they used to, because things are getting a little too big. I probably have like 30k in lugers, mostly because the naval and arty models are in great condition.
Figure the other handguns like the python, the old colt revolvers, the c96 with stock, the 1911s, im probably sitting on around 45-50k in handguns.
In rifles the .50 bring in a few grand, the ebr another couple, add in all the milsurp and bolt guns and ars and im probably floating around 70k.
Add in accessories and ammo, and that number jumps considerably.
Shit, just paid for a suppressor on saturday, after accessories that was another 1500.

Father in law has hunting friend that is getting old and giving all his stuff to him in his will. He was a us marshal and has collected god know what over the years. My father in law drinks a lot, and I suspect wont live as long as expected . All his children, while not anti gun, really have no interest in firearms. There is a fair chance I stand to inherent some if not all of it when he goes. I have seen/held 1/10 of the collecting which is around 50k.
