If this thing came out of the water and attacked New York, wouldn't one or two bunker buster shells to the head kill the creature? Discuss
>>
>>30178104
Sure. Let's do it after it destroys NY tho.
>>
>>30178104
i mean probably but who cares
>>
>>30178104
Real life? Yes.
Movie life? It absorbs atomic and non-kinetic energy.

Real life it wouldn't make it out of the water before being blown to bits, had it existed.
>>
>>30178143
>Movie life? It absorbs atomic and non-kinetic energy.
A bunker buster is kinetic energy though.
>>
Real life: .22lr to the eye. Round goes into the brain, bounces on inside of skull, creature dies instantly.

DELET THIS
>>
>>30178122
Bingo. Maybe we can send it on to a couple other tyrannical, cancerous shitholes when it's done.
>>
Real life: unrealisticly massive creature rips itselve apart since its skeleton is not build to carry such massive loads of meat.
Even if Godzilla was build like an elephant the weight of itselve would simply shred its stomach open.

It could live with its size but only in the water.
>>
Now what about Alien? Say an entire nest is dicovered in the sewers under a major city and a few have already hatched and impregnated people. Would the government/police be able to respond quick enough? Seeing as these things are capable of reproducing at crazily fast speeds? Would the police/military even be capable of fighting off a creatures that move in such a way most normal people have never encountered?
>>
>>30178169

This. It's heart would be the size of a bus, a couple 9mm to the chest would kill it.
>>
>>30178308
honestly the gubment would just pull a broken arrow. and if that doesn't work, then nukes.
>>
>>30178169
>>30178324
It's skin and scales I'm fairly sure would be thick enough to repel small caliber rounds. I'd just have the military send a few AC-130s up into the air and rain down GAU-12 fire and a few blasts from the 105.
>>
>>30178104

If we're talking Godzilla, and not just a godzilla-looking creature.

No. Bunker busters wouldn't do shit except piss it off.

This thing takes lighting and lasers that wipe out entire armored columns without so much as flinching at times.

He took a MINIATURE BLACK HOLE TO THE CHEST AND SURVIVED.
>>
>>30178104
I doubt it.
>>
Godzilla can't be killed unless by something meaningful and tragic, like someone making technology with even more devastating weapons applications than nukes and then sacrificing himself and destroying his research in the process of killing Godzilla.

So no. Being a fictional creature, that's just how it works.

Fuck New York City

The only good thing NYC did was take a hit from Muslims so everyone else had an excuse to kick ass.

NYC is a hive of obnoxious whiny shitheads

What if The Thing appeared inside Godzilla?

What if The Thing touched a fish? And that fish touched another fish? And then a seagull ate that fish? And a killer whale ate that seagull? And a Japanese man ate that killer whale?
>>
>>30178104
Military can't kill Godzilla. If we discuss that seriously, then how will you aim your bunker-buster bombs on moving target?
>>
>>30178104
>>30178122
>>30178207

I thought the Kaiju were the ones attacking the liberal shitholes and Godzilla defended freedom by keeping the damage contained in non-essential democrat-voting areas.
>>
>>30178104
Godzilla at New York for good reason. Let ot do its thing and be on its way.

Would you rather have superman?

>Killing Godzilla

Wtf? He should fucking rape you to death faggot.

You must be a #imwithher cuck or a yuropuss, murder yourself.
>>
>>30183667
Pretty much.

Only way to avoid that it's classing an obscenely large area in a very short period of time to prevent any part of it spreading. God help us if it catches a pigeon or hits the water supply.

Then again, we would all soon become one being, spreading across the galaxy
>>
>>30178169
No. Penetration wouldn't be deep enough. A tank shell to the eye would pull it off. Maybe a .50 if it got lucky, but I'm going to assume it would explode in the liquid of the eye like a bullet hitting water.
>>
>>30180494
Didn't they show on the original movie that if it made it to mainland it would infect the entire world in like 3 months?
>>
>>30184015
ive thought about this a lot. It could literally create fields of cocks fucking pussies generating massive, continuous orgasms for itself.
>>
>>30178247

You do know that his body would be to big, even if it was a water creature. Scientists already proven this, over and over.

This was a bretty gub read
>>
>>30178104
It may not be able to accurately drop said bunker-buster.

It may not be possible to lock on to the damn thing. It may not radiate enough heat, and since we know that in the film it absorbs radiation it may have essentially biological RAM that makes its profile smaller than it should be.

It's not like dropping GPS-guided bombs on a moving thing is particularly easy
>>
>>30184096

Scientists have also proven anything is possible
>>
>>30184090
I mean sure, but idk how high it would be on the list of priorities. Probably has a lot of free time though
>>
>>30184147

we have laser guided bombs for this very reason. one of the USAF's premier bunker busters is laser guided.

no thanks, i feel like sleeping tonight instead of fondling a loaded rifle while i contemplate existential horror. Rifters was pretty amazing though.

>Could Godzilla be destroyed by X existing military weapon
Literally as bad as Saitama vs threads. The point of Godzilla is that no, it wouldn't, you can't, period. You need to make an absolute madman creation or have another kaiju fuck him up enough that he walks away.
>>
>>30184344

Its like you don't want to meld your biomass and explore the entirety of space for eternity
>>
>>30178104
Godzilla fell into a volcano once, he just swam through hundreds of miles of molten rock and burst out of mount Fuji unharmed.

The entire point of godzilla is that hes a nigh-unstoppable walking disaster, you can't stop him with real world technology.
