This. It is not a question of when a biological weapon (such as an engineered virus) gets released and kills many, many people, but of when.
It may take several hundred years from now, but it will happen, either as a mistake (labeling, poor handling, etc), or a spontaneous act of malice, or a direct terrorist attack intending to do such a thing, but it will happen.
