Very close to grabbing one of these, /k/. Are there any anons who have this and can provide any feedback? Maybe anyone who can convince me that a Glock 19, XD, or M&P might be a better choice? I don't have any problems with these competitors necessarily, but I would prefer DA/SA hammer with a decocker that doesn't weigh 50lbs like the aluminum p226 for a carry/range fun.

why?
320 is better than 2022

In what fucking parallel universe do you live?

Why. Better is a matter of opinion, so what is it?

No it isn't, retard. The DAO was invented to appease moronic burgers who can't think enough to operate DA/SA w a decocker

i had one and its a really good gun.

Great gun. For about $650 from Bud's with a TB and nite sites, you CANNOT lose.
>>
>>30155221
I have one in 9mm. Trigger is pretty good (better than my Glock at least), and almost as good as a friend's p229. The night sights are also about as good as Trijicons.

Honestly there's not much to say. The only real complaint I have is that the slide stop is very easy to hold down if you're not careful.

I've had a 2340, known as the SigPro for about 16 years.

It really has been a good gun. Accurate, reliable, etc. Was pretty soft shooting in .40

Sometimes people call it a compact, but I find it to be a full size duty gun for the most part, and it does feel a bit bulky, but not really a problem. Have not shot it in years, but that's more about the size of my gun collection and all the choices I have these days, more than anything else.

I would recommend based on my experience with the line.

Not him but I'm trying to understand your post. Did you think the 320 is the 250?
>>
>>30155221
No good reason not to get one of these. Do it.
>>
I liked mine though I did trade it for a used G19. It was reliable and the trigger was alright but I feel like recoil is more manageable on a Glock.
>>
>>30155221
Tremendous gun. One of my favorites. For as much accolades the PPQ gets, I still think the 2022's trigger stands toe and toe with some of the best, but that's to be expected from Sig. Partial length metal rails and a polymer frame are what gets this gun a lot of flak for being a poor mans p226, but as always, and what the sticky says, buy it if it fits your hand. If you like the gun A -and gun B, then why not buy both unless you live in a one room house.

>hyperbole
Not really. No excuse for a ~9mm pistol to weigh more than a pound or 1.5, considering my 14" AR weighs just under 5lbs loaded. Realize though, there's only one absurdly heavy P226 weighs over 1,190g/2.6lbs. The P226 SL, I believe. Utterly ridiculous.
>>
>>30155221
If you're getting a da/sa sig then go for an original p. If not get a 320. 2022 is made purely to be the poorfag sig.
>>
Shot one last night. Felt almost as good as the last 226 I fired. Wouldn't get rid of my p07 for it (my thumb rides the SIG slide stop, so they never lock open for me) but I'd highly recommend it for those without my thumbs.

Anyone have experience with the Arex Rex Zero 1?

It's a little large for carry. Both in overall dimensions, but also that big Sig slide. Alright for a range gun, or bed side table. The night sights are quite nice and worth spending a little extra. They can be found quite cheap used.

That all said, the P320 is a slick gun if you're not set on DA/SA. If you're looking to buy new I'd get one instead.

>that doesn't weigh 50lbs like the aluminum p226 for a carry/range fun.

Here's what you do OP
>buy a P226 for the range
>buy a P239 for carry

or alternatively
>just buy a P239 and kill two birds with one stone

The SP2022 is pretty underrated but the trigger will never be as good as a 22X with or without an SRT
>>
2022 is great. I've shot my way through most of Sig's P22x lineup, and the SP2022 is much more reliable than them and the only gun I'd consider owning from Sig, regardless of price.

>(my thumb rides the SIG slide stop, so they never lock open for me)

You should rest your thumb ontop of your other thumb or get a P224 slide release. The P224's slide release is much smaller so you can get a thumbs foward grip without stopping the slide from locking back. They go for ~30 iirc on topgunsupply

The Legion line uses them
>>
I have one in 40sw and I like it. My concern is that when I have my TLR-1 attached it will randomly lock the slide back while firing. It isn't the pistol or my finger placement; I triple checked both and it runs flawlessly without the light. It's something to consider, but I still recommend it.
