I live in southeast and hunt in the delta region once in a while and with long guns you fill out a form and pay a fee, they take credit cards at the border. Hand guns no way. Also if you get flagged for extra searching the Canadians ask for smart phones and the passcode. They went through my phone. Failure to do so gets you fucked.
