I want to get two silencers before the law changes, I want one in .45 acp so i can do all my pistols, and one in .30 cal for all my rifles.
Whats the best site?
Silencershop gurentees that if i get the paperwork to them before july 7th i think they will get an old style trust through, anyhow i want to keep it under 1800.
Any suggestions on site and or models?
>>
Come on anyone ? Please advise?
>>
>>30145600
your local SOT if they are large should have a decent selection on hand. you are too late to wait for a transfer from another dealer the paperwork is taking two months just for dealer to dealer because of the panic of 41f. I have 17 stamps pending right now AMA fag
>>
>>30145918
Any idea if the Saker that much better than the Specwar? Any thoughts on Silencerco Hybrid?
>>
>>30146172
I bought the saker 556 and a hybrid the paper work is pending right now. the saker has a shorter allowed barrel length than the specwar and the saker is a little more modular plus you get a free mount. if you really have the money silencer co offers every can and accessory for 20k and they will pay your tax stamps for all of them.

>Any thoughts on Silencerco Hybrid?
an all in one can like the hybrid or the new optimus from griffin are really the way to go if you are not looking at getting a can for every caliber. they will not do as good a job as caliber specific ones but there will be a large improvement over unsuppressed
>>
>>30145918

17 cuck stamps.
The firearm version of the kid with the all holographic Pokemon deck and shows it to everyone he can.
>>
>>30146224
I wish I had 20k to drop in the next few weeks, but I don't have enough guns to warrant it anyway. For the time being I'm mostly looking for something in 7.62 so I can use with my AR and .300 Blackout upper I'm putting together, but considered a hybrid to use with handguns from time to time. Guess I need to go hit up shops and see what's going to be available.

if you have the budget I would recommend an omega 30 and a hybrid then. the new break they came up with for the omega is the shit. I would start calling every local dealer and seeing what they have. I also would recommend getting a trust done from a local NFA attorney in your area they can draft you up one within probably about 24 hrs not a month like silencer shop. they will cost about 200 bucks thou.

>>30146253
you got me bro. don't be mad I have spent more in stamps than you own in guns. you will get there someday.
>>
>>30146326
Forgot to mention, I'm not OP. Already have my trust taken care of. Thanks for the input, I'm gonna go do some shopping.

>>
>>30145600
can anyone aware me on the law? i thought it made it easier to get a suppressor. 1 stamp for as many suppressors as you want in 5 years or something.
>>
>>30148321
no
>>
>>30145600
what's the problem with waiting until after? i thought 41F made it easier to get a trust. No CLEO sign-off, 2 years of using the same stamp for as many NFA items as you want. Just more paperwork, that's it. Right? Am I missing something? I read gov regs for my job so I should be better at understanding that stuff but I can't bring myself to read through even more.

yeah thats right. you just got everything wrong.
>>
Looking at getting into suppressors myself, mainly pistol caliber.

Does anyone have any good experiences/recommendations with any 9mm monolithic suppressors?
>>
>>30148632
you also have to be finger printed even as a trust
>>
>>30148632
Fingerprints and you have to notify CLEO.

No thanks.
>>
Anyone know of a user servicable unit similar to the GA Optimus so I can change from 9mm to .308 and .223?
>>
Omega and 45 Octane FTW.
>>
>>30149484
mystic x without the 308
>>
Not OP obv, but I just found out Im elligible and I kind of want one too. I have .40s&w(g27) and 556. Reccomend me some good bang for the buck silencers.

wait, they are changing?
>>
Find someone local man. You're not going to get in before the deadline ordering. My NFA guy will order for me and give me the serial off the form 3 if he has to order it. That way I can get my form 4 in ASAP. If you can find someone lIke that, it's ideal. It's not illegal to do that either. Especially since a form 3 clears long before a form 4 will.
>>
>>30149603
BTW, unless something has changet, silencer shop will not do this.
>>
>>30149568
But... i need for my .308. :(
>>
>>30149618
I just called silencer shop today, they said they willl file your form 3 and 4 at the same time, but need the serial number to do so. I.e. cant do it on a back order item. If its in stock they will.

Specifically asked Jeremy there because I need to get a Griffin Armament Optimus like yesterday.

Only 2 GA dealers in WA and neither of them have one. :(

Which Ones are you trying to use?
Tacoma-Fag here.

One in auburn (rainier arms) and one in bellevue (weapon outfitters) are the only 2 dealers listed on griffin armaments site. Neither said they carry it in stock.

Im actually over in central WA, im hoping they can order one in asap and hope they let me file form 4 while they are awaiting the form 3 to completely clear.

Try and give Federal Way Discount Guns a call. They may be able to get you something similar very quickly as they have an entire display case from different Manufacturers full of suppressors
>>
>>30150072
Saturday im going to talk to my local ffl, but I will try them.

Federal way was my old stompin grounds as a kid. I wonder what its like now?

They have moved and rebuilt the store. $40 FFL transfer costs for all online sales. No additional NCIC fees. Washington does have a "Fair use Fee" (read 10% of total cost including shipping) *cough Cough BULLTSHT FEE* but other than that they are pretty cool about it all.

I recently acquired my Ruger Precision Rifle through them and it was pretty much in and out since I have a CPL in the state.

Griffin armament Alpha and Rugged Obsidian .45

I just ordered my Alpha today.
>>
>>30148748
Yeah. They more easily get stuck to the tube because they're not shielded all the way around, and nobody makes the core from steel, so it'll either be aluminum (lol blast erosion, low firing schedule) or titanium (3x cost).

Click together concentric designs like the Octane and TiRant are the way to go.

>>

That's pretty cool. F/A and 7.5" on 5.56 rated. A bit hefty but perhaps the dB reduction is worth it.

>>
>>30150714

Mystic X is a stainless monocore and titanium tube. Not saying the best or anything, just that at least one steel core exists.

I am a fan of the octane HD. I have one waiting for stamp now.
>>
Octane 45 with 9mm endcaps.
For the .30cal either the spec war if you want maximum suppression but heavy as shit, or the omega if you want great suppression in a small light package.
>>
>>30151202
Oh. Derp, I'm retarded.
>>
>>30151429
do they even sell end caps for octane anymore?
>>
For 45acp, the best one they have in stock is the Tirant. Rugged omega and ailencerco Octane are supposedly better cans but they were out of stock all over so i went with the tirant
>>
>>30151429
You cannot use any aluminum suppressor on a rifle caliber.

I don't even know of an unwelded suppressor that's safe to use on a proper rifle caliber. It's too unsafe.

holy shit people would be pissing themselves waiting for it if this were true. Our friend here >>30145918 would have to spend only $200 instead of $3400.
