Most beautiful handgun ever. Too bad it's only chambered in 380

Yeah but I hate that safety
looks backwards
it IS a safety right?
>>30120846
>looks backwards
Just like Germans.
>>30120846
no more backwards than a beretta or walther safety
only it doesn't decock the hammer, so you can still carry condition one
I might get a bersa. It looks about the same.
>>30120877
yeah, and as far as I'm concerned beretta and walther safeties are backwards too
moving my thumb in a downward motion from the top of the slide is natural to me. If my first exposure to handguns hadn't been 1911s it prolly wouldn't be a problem for me, but at this point it's a problem.

another /k/ommando made this a while back
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xCwOAQZHSw
it's even more natural on the P9S. the barrel, slide, and safety are very low compared to tilting barrel pistols with guide rods
>>30120935
I've always thought this too. Slide safeties in general are just shitty.
>>30120955
>literally beats itself to death
>>30120935
Speaking of 1911's and beautiful guns, I forgot to post a pic of one.
With the right grips a stainless series 70 is tough to beat in terms of beauty

I agree, but with the caveat that my objection to them is just that they are different and I DONT LIKE CHANGE
It feels wrong to post a polymer gun in a thread like this, but am I the only one who finds the low profile of these things really attractive?
For your consideration
The Japs ordered a bunch of P230s in .32 ACP with manual safeties and i've been lusting after those for a while. I'd honestly prefer that over .380 because of capacity (one extra round is nice) and low recoil. A bullet is a bullet, anything stronger than .22 Short is viable.
>>30121780
I think the Japanese police's approach to what they issue is pretty cool.
>>30121809
It's essentially the same basic idea as the Walther PP in a sense; concealable, low recoiling, relatively small. The guns are perfect for concealed carrying, which is the point.

>>30126428

>>30126519
What year/make/model?
Mine appears to be a 1916-29 (unknown year sadly, it just happens to match DWM manufacturing marks and whatnot) frame and toggle that got refurbished by Mauser with a new barrel with SS proof marks.
So in all it ends up being a DWM toggle and frame with a 42 marked barrel.
>>30126733
1916 DWM standard model. All matching with no import or capture marks to speak of. Never reblued and the straw is nice for being something I shoot. It's been a safe queen for a while though. It's half the reason I bought the Steyr because the grip angle is perfect. Mag is not a match and is a bit chewed, but it is Nazi marked.
>>30127075
And another.

I needed a smaller gun for summer so I went shopping around to trade my 320 in on a 239 but couldn't find one. Called around until one shop told me they aren't in current production and it could take up to a month to get it.
I got a pps m2 instead.

Is there a parts list or an article about that one? It's fucking sexy.
Reverse image search brings up nothing useful.
>>30131990
Those look like nill grips, a 9mm lower that takes Glock mags and an Osprey lower. You really don't need an armbrace on that gun though... like at all.
>>30132076
>You really don't need an armbrace on that gun though... like at all.
it's an old pic. I'm pretty sure it was from back when it was legal to shoulder those things
>>30132113
Probably but a buffer tube alone gives you a cheek rest. That gun will have approximately 0 recoil and trying to use an extra short "stock" will actually counter productive as it just isn't needed.
>>30132137
>>30132076
>>30132113
Sorry, I forgot to ask, but do either of you happen to know what handguard that is? I'll be building a new frontier Glock small frame lower, and the only smooth handguard I've found is a 4" MLOK ( http://vtsupply.com/guntec-usa-m-lok-free-floating-monolithic-lightweight-handguard.html ) that I'd like to hang a light mount off of (It's cheap, so I'm not worried about quality).
I'm also curious about how they managed to get the suppressor near flush with the handguard, but I'll wait until receiving my own parts before asking more questions.
>>30132149
Yeah. It surprised me when I built my AR pistol, there is no benefit to shouldering it. I say this as someone who thought about getting an arm brace but they're just pointless.
