All I can think of is 'Nam and the one where we lost Cuba.

The cultural one

All of them.
War on globalism
>>30116024
That's all of western society then.
>>30116030
No. We won our revolution. And the Bean-American. If I remember correct we have won every Sand Nigger war too.
>>30116024
There's still small skirmishes these days tho.
>All I can think of is 'Nam
"Lance Janda, a professor of history at Cameron University in Lawton, Okla., said that "our strategy in Vietnam did not revolve around taking and holding terrain. In fact, we often captured and then abandoned key positions over and over again, and measured our progress in the war through a body count."
By that measure, Janda added, "it’s certainly true that we consistently inflicted far greater casualties on the Viet Cong and North Vietnam than we suffered, and if that’s the only gauge one uses to measure ‘victory,’ then we really did win in Vietnam.""
>>30115997
the war of not giving a single fuck
>>30116102
The measure of casualties in war isn't the measure of victory. Our objective in 'Nam wasn't to inflict VC or NVA casualties but instead to suppress their fronts and preserve the Southern Vietnam gov. from Communism. And in the end or withdrawal caused that failure, thus bringing a spiritual loss.

Sure thing "professor"

The Battle of 1812
>>30116256
We didn't lose that. No one did. In fact the Era of Good Feelings spawned from 1812 bc we could hold our own against a leading superpower.
>>30116288
Key word being could...feels bad man. Feels bad
>>30116337
Well idk how to say how 1812 ended.

>>30115997
bay of pigs doesn't really count as a war, but we tied in 1812 and Civil War
>>30115997
literally every war theyve engaged in, including their own civil war
>>30116150
>thus bringing a spiritual loss.
>sign treaty after establishing a situation very much like the Koreas
>after leaving norvs break treaty.
That's like saying after winning a school yard fight and going home, the kid you kicked the shit out of beats up your friend.
it's a separate but related issue.
>>30116288
I would'nt really say that they could at that present time, Britain literally gave zero fucks about America and sent over a fraction of their navy, as most was dealing with Napoleon.
You guys did do enough though to gain independence

>Try to burn down the White-house
>accidentally set a bunch of extra shit on fire.
>Some of that extra shit is your own people and supplies.
>Blow up your own ammo dump and kill friendlies.
great success.

almost every war, we've had mishaps. That being said our track record is superb and has few peers

>1812
>Lost
biggest canuck meme.
nobody ever mentions burning down the provincial capital of Upper Canada. no, it's always the white house that matters. even if the white house was only a few years old and purposefully left because it was an awful place to defend.
you'll notice how nothing except the buildings on the way to the white house as damaged.
and it isn't even the last thing to happen in the war. Andrew Jackson humiliated the redcoats pretty bad at New Orleans.
if anything, the War of 1812 was a draw. neither side gained anything and only lost men and resources.

>implying I said anything about winning that war or any of it's other events
Just think it'd be neat desu
Vietnam was lost. We left it in a state of disgrace, and the one true mission, keeping communism from conquering all, was an eventual failure.
Iraq war 2, and korea were noth more successful in that regard. Baathists never retook iraq, and capitalist korea stands free.
The later is considered a draw.
If you say vietnam wasn't a loss, it's as laughable as saying the soviets didn't lose in afghanistan.
>>30115997
>All I can think of is 'Nam and the one where we lost Cuba.
The Bay of Pigs operation was a CIA backed operation using Cuban dissidents. It was a major fuck up; but it can't reasonably be considered a war.
Vietnam is the only one that we definitively lost. Korea and 1812 were more or less a draw while Iraq and Afghanistan fall into more of the Pyrrhic victory category.

It's actually like walking into a friend of your enemy's area and beating the crap out of them and then leaving because you just wanted to beat the crap out of them as an example of what happens when you befriend USSR scum.
USSR out of tons of money trying to help underling.
The beat to crap opponent declares victory because you left.
Communist expansion dramatically slowed.
why does no other country fight for gun rights like the US? it's not fair. i don't want to be cucked.

>nobody ever mentions burning down the provincial capital of Upper Canada. no, it's always the white house that matters.
That's because no one cares about Canada.
