Thoughts on the Walther PPX in 9mm?

Discontinued. Just buy a PPQ.

I ask because someone offered me one in a trade. I know Walther has a good reputation, but I've never handled a PPX, and the Hi-Point-ish looks really put me off.

Oh. Very well, in that case:
Discontinued. Just buy a PPQ.

I can't afford a PPQ, have no intention of buying one, and he did not offer one. I'm simply asking about the pistol he offered to trade.
>>30076394
Ohh. I see, I see. In that case:
Discontinued. Get cash for whatever your trading, and then buy a PPQ.
>>30076402
Nah, I don't want a PPQ.
>>30076458
Then don't buy one. Sheesh, no need to be so hostile.

PPX's are actually excellent handguns for their tier. When you compare other $300 handguns it blows away the competition.
That said, for another $100 or two gets you a helluva lot better gun. Habe Walther is die Beste.
Have one, it has a nice trigger and I can shoot it well. Never had a failure in it with a few hundred rounds and I find the ergonomics very nice despite it not looking great. Them no longer being produced is likely not going to help their long term value, but they work well so I'm not terribly upset by this.
The grip looks like a damaged penis IMO.
Which is odd because basically every other PP looks fantastic.
