>>30032935

Yes

The Weisel and this should have playdates.
>>
>>30033056
No. The Stryker brigades need larger firepower and there's not enough MGS in the Army for that role. The Carl Gustavs taken into service will help that somewhat, but they still need more, which is what the US military is doing. There's the project whose name I can't remember that's about designing or finding a IFV with a large caliber gun, that can both destroy tanks and provide efficient fire support.
>>
Can you repeat the question?
>>
>>30033083
Is that a railgun?

Just an autocannon with a weird shroud.

If the US Navy cant even into railguns why on earth would the Russians be able to put one on a tankette?
>>
maybe if you put wings on it

Wouldn't integrating a more traditional lav derivative similar to the Lav 25 be able to have similar armor and firepower as a Bradley while only losing the ability to float, which the Stryker can't do either?
>>
A tankette should at minimum protect against a rifle thats shoulder fired. IMHO

So, yes on a tankette, but one the size and protection of a scorpion, but downgrade the gun for 30mm.
>>
>>30032935
If we put wings on them, they will be much more useful and we can retire helo's
>>
Yes. Tankettes are love, tankettes are life.

>autoloaded 90mm, twin 30mm, 4 ss.11 or 2 ss.12 ATGMs.
I'm still salty it didn't enter production

>>30032989
>only for scouts
Isn't the Ozelot used as a regular AA-platform?
>>
>>30033861
Fun fact, these french tankettes were designed to be less tall than wheat fields in case of a conflict against soviet armored division on the Fulda gap.
>>

so when krauts arent building super efficient battle-tanks they just build CUTE things?
>>
>>30034561
they are super effective
>paratroopers land behind enemy lines
>with tankettes (20mm auto-cannons/stingers/TOW/120mm mortars)
>easy as fuck to deploy and get out again
>they can get to woods thanks to their small size
>with enough armor to withstand 7,62mm and shell splinters
>they will harras the shit out of your supply lines and fuck up HQ's/Artillery Positions/Radar stations and AA batteries

you can get 4 to 5 Wiesel1 or 3 Wiesel2 for the weight of a single BMD3/4 which translates into a lot more takka/situation awareness and area (to be able) to cover

Make them modular with different weapons like the poles did, or make it so you can stack them atop each other to make a towering pillar of tankettes
>>
>>30032935

How useful would these be if they were used in WW2 with all the modern equipment they have.
>>
>>30035973
Just the TOW variants alone would be some of the greatest anti-tank weapons in the world.
>>
>>30036016
the greatest anti take weapons in the world are jets
