A revolver is a primitive, antiquated weapon from a bygone era. Surpassed in capacity, accuracy, weight, size, speed of follow up shots and every other attribute of note for a fighting weapon. They are delightful to look at and are superbly engineered for their era, the timing mechanisms are like fine clock work. For big game hunting they are ideal. As a combat side arm they are sub optimal at best.
