What does /k/ think of production model T-50?

They took all the prototype experiments and put it into this, it has stealth S-ducts for reduced RCS, it has long nose for very fast speed, it has flat bottom that bounces off radar waves. It has livery against dogs on airfields.

Wait... what?

Kek.

You mock it but the Tejas is better than the Gripen. India is truly proving that it is a military exporter for the 21st century.
>>
Is that an F-20?
>>
>>30004735
I think you might be a troll, but I am actually not sure...no upon further analysis, you are a well, well executed troll.
>>
>>30004423
That's not a T-50
>>
>>30005046
It's a Top Gun adversary F-5 Freedom Fighter.

It is a Y-shaped duct you dumbfuck.

Smooth, curved body is also not good for stealth. Better to have angled geometry to deflect radar, hence all the saw-shaped fittings and engine exhaust blades on the F-35.

Yes it is
>twin engine
>black and white camo
>not stealth
>70s technology

Educate yourself

>>30005046
just a plain old opfor F-5
>>
>>30005046
the f-20 was a single engine'd version that used the f-16's engine. it was a better aircraft than the f-16 so it was shelved because they did not want to sell them abroad.

I've heard that american pilots from the red team try to reenact not only russian doctrine, but even the daily schedule of russian air force servicemen. It this legit?
>>
>>30005306
to an extent they do
>>
>>30005306
always made me wonder what the Russian pilots that flew f-4's did during the day
>>
>>30005272
who flys opfor? officers? retired officers?
Must be nice gig if the retired officers get to fly
must be skate ass gig if all you do if fly op for as an officer.
>>
>>30005351
No retired guys fly as a rule. its mostly young ensigns really and captains . i don't know about the air force
>>
>>30005250
Its so stealthy you literally think its Y duct
>>
>>30005351
>>30005377

dedicated aggressor squadrons typically would be a second or third tour option for AF dudes, and i'd imagine it's similar for the Navy. so everybody's an O-3 at a minimum.

The Navy contracts out some of their OPFOR work to private businesses; that's what Neptunus Lex was doing when we lost him.
>>
>>30005046
It's a Mig-28.
