What did you score on the ASVAB?

http://www.strawpoll.me/10247096
>>
88 back in high school, was kinda mad i didnt get at least 90, i think it was due to not having any knowledge of mechanical stuff, fun test tho
>>
>>29987636
98-99, except where you has to differentiate between 0's and O's in a set amount of time. Recruiters would not stop calling the house, even after I went to college.

98. Became navy nuke. Worst idea ever.
>>
I got a 99, so eazy, I went to meps completely baked on weed too bros

if you got anything below that, you're terminally retarded bro
>>
99. Doesn't matter, because the test's ability to differentiate between people's intelligence is strongest in the middle and breaks down as it approaches the extremes. That is, it will be much more accurate in determining if a person is a 51 vs 50 percentile scorer than it will be in deciding whether they are a 96 vs 98 percentile scorer.

Everyone scoring above, say, a 90 should be taking a different test if they want to actually get a comparison between them. I wouldn't say I'm smarter than anyone near the top end of the ASVAB based on that test alone.

>but with an 800 English SAT and 790 Math SAT, I can probably say that with confidence
>>
all these fucking liars lol

my god, ONE female and she's brown. got the black guy on the left trying to cheat. got the nerdy white boy with the glasses who is proly a kissless virgin. Wonder what branch he's joining?
>>
>>29990626
nah, we're autistic and smart. it's the normies who are dumb.
>>
I'm not a welfare queen. Our high school didn't make us take it if we took the ACT or SAT. They wanted us to make something of ourselves.
>>
>>29990634
that female listens to iron maiden
>>
>>29987636
Let's hear something else. SAT scores. POST EM.
>>
>>29990725
go measure your epenish elsewhere op
>>
I got an 89 when I was a college dropout and graduated high school almost 3 years before that, I kind of wish I took it in high school so the information would've been fresh in my head instead of trying to remember it all like 2 days before the test
>>
>>29990524
As someone who dropped out of DEP for that program to actually go to college with the guard, why?

1860 first time, 2200 second time. It's just about learning the rules. SAT is flawed imo
>>

Do you even understand how percentiles work, anon?
>>
>>29987636
The ASVAB is still done on paper?

I didn't know shit about half of the categories and still got a decent score. It's really just a retard test
>>
99 back in 10th grade when I took it.

I really don't see how anyone scored under a 90 because there wasn't anything on it past 8th grade math. Like 70% of the people who took it in my NJROTC program got at least an 85.

99's report
>>
>>29992307
You literally cannot be in the 100th percentile, moron. There is no 100th percentile. 99 is the maximum.
>>
>>29987636
89 when I was in high school
>>
>>29987636
89, but all my composite scores were in the mid-high 120s, so I could do whatever I wanted to. Didn't even have to retake it three years later when I went active, reclassed from 19D to 25B.
>>
Got a 98
They took me into the room, said this will be a 3 hour test

20 minutes later, I kind of slowly stood up, like, that was it? Should I be done yet? Was it supposed to be that easy?

>AF liaison wished I was active because I was eligible for every job
Na nigga, I'm guard fo lyfe
>TFW indefinitely activated as an E-3 guardsman
>TFW cushiest living I've ever had
>>
94
>>
>>29992815
Uh, no, just because 9 is the last letter before you start at 0 again doesn't mean 99 is the max. You don't go from 99 to 101. Where did 100 go? Why is one entire of something considered 100%? Like my perfect score. Don't gitmad, gitgud.
>>
>>29992948

Scoring in the hundredth percentile means you're scoring better than one hundred percent of everyone who takes the test.

Your test is part of the hundred percent.

Ha! I took the ASVAB baked off my ass (smokes a huge joint then rode my bike to the test). Got a 99. I got the same taken aside routine "Hey son. How about being a backseater in an F-14?"
>>
>>29992798
>a single 98 in General
You were so close to being an elite like me.
>>
>>29993019
>A1C :^)

Get $800 a month for BAH, $368.29 a month for BAS, then my actual pay is $1,963.24

I work half the week at an easy job and get to fight the war, from home, while getting my degree for free.
>>
>>29987636
96. Went infantry.
>>
>>29993098
Wow. I think you're the first guardsman to figure out how to game the system. Get back at me when you're 90% disabled and get 2500/month for the rest of your life while still being in for those Cush bennies
>this fucking casual
>>
>>29992906
E-3 aircraft or E3 paygrade? If plane, I'm at Tinker too
>>
>>29993173
I'm really not gaming the system, I just happened to pick a career field that is extremely 'undermanned' in both active and guard/reserve. I'm essentially active, except I get to stay living in my apartment that I had before I shipped to BMT instead of being stuck in the dorms with a bunch of retarded junior enlisted. My job does shiftwork, so every other week I get a 4 day weekend; the flipside is that I rotate shifts regularly so my sleep schedule is permanently fucked.

>>29993199
Grade, sorry
>>
>>29987636
95 composite score. Still have my results somewhere.
>>
>>29990725
How about the ACT, senpai?
Only took it once, got a 29, which they say is ~93rd percentile.
>>
>>29993173
>>29993241
Guard is actually really cushy and a great plan depending on what job you get. After my enlistment I'm debating going guard so I can train out of cyber and into aircrew

1950 the first try, 2250 the second try.

RIP the english section.

Got turned away at MEPS for butt cysts. Family shames me for not serving, but I don't really give a fuck.
>>
>>29990725
2100. Haven't taken the ACT yet, I ended up dropping out the week following my SAT.

Wanna be EOD

>ASVAB

How about missile guidance?

>ME: "No Thx, Take my biology degree an run"

Years later

> So much regret
>>
>>29987636
iirc it was something it the mid 80s.
>>
95th percentile

But I wasn't a U.S. citizen then so they wouldn't let me go into intelligence, so I went to college instead.
>>
87

Went to MEPS years ago. They ended up not taking me because I'm a homeschooled fuck, and don't have a diploma. I had to take two personality tests because of this, and apparently I failed the second one. AIMS and TAPAS, can't remember which is which. Recruiter said everyone fails the second one.

I also scored "all ones" on my physical, whatever that means.
>>
>>29990610
So much this. Scored a 99 back in 01 and a 97 in 2010 and only hit 1200 for the late 90's sat. If you top 70 you can do damn near everything with training and effort
