This is a big problem here. I see so many threads start off with a legitimate question, and then you get like two dozen posts coming in early and calling the OP a manlet or autistic, or otherwise derailing the topic into something retarded.
There was a thread about reducing the grip diameter on Sigs the other day and if not for me calling out a couple idiots out early on in the thread, it would have gone the same direction (because how could a discussion of how to modify a Sig for people with smaller hands POSSIBLY be /k/ related?).
Another thread about how to use ring sights on an AR-15 quickly devolved into a group-rape of the OP, telling him that he doesn't know how to shoot, that he needs to "get gud" and a bunch of unrelated shit, with no one taking the time to address his actual concern (that he wasn't too confident at finding the center of the circle while aiming this type of sight).

This type of derailment isn't always permanent, though. The idiots who derail thread often leave early and it's possible for smart people to bring the thread back on subject.
