Your face is a LMG?
>>29945554
just hate it when that happens
>>29945554
>>29945569
yeah pretty terrible
>>29945546
Be glad they used an actual gun, rather than something fictional.
>>29945546
Looked like a 100 rounder to me. I thought it was weird, but it's doable.
>>29945588
Getting a 60 round mag as part of your face must suck too, i guess. Getting in the way all the time, and so on
>>29945603
I did not complain.
I think it's really cool for a movie writer to show what he knows rather than giving every actor an ak.
Actually I'm pretty sure it was an M249 with 100 round surefire quad stack and an acog with red dot on top. A 249 does take stanag mags but it is dumb that he just didn't use a bag and belt.
>>29945611
Well, at least I don't have to take extra mags with me.
Also mag ban lol.
>>29945644
>too many cooks
>>29945546
I think side mounted mags look cool.
I want to know why an Avengers' Quinn Jet has M249s in it.
Cap hasn't used a gun since the Invasion of NY. Only Widow, Falcon, and Hawkeye use guns since. they don't use a SAW.
So who were the SAWs for?
>>29945644
>acog
Try again
>>29945736
maybe they were installed for normal agents.
If Shield has that.
>>29945644
If it's a blank-modified gas system, had they decided to actually fire the weapon, they would need blank rounds.
Seeing crimped 5.56 casings exposed on a belt being fed into the weapon kinda ruins the magic, which is why you don't really see that many belt-feds firing in movies without CGI assistance.
That being said, there are WAY better choices for close-quarters than a SAW with the full-size barrel.
>>29945777
it wasnt full size or was it?

>Cap says something along the lines of "there's a bunch of guys here with Ar-15s"
>mfw they all have Galils and Sig 550s, not a single ar-15
>>29945799
Fuck me, that's a short barrel.
It's still a 16lb open bolt automatic rifle.
>>29945806
To be fair cap is supossed to have a few extra frosty chromosomes. He probably would think an AK-12 was some kind of american AR meant to be able to us AK mags.
>>29945847
Its an AR that shoots ak mags
>>29945806
To be fair he was asleep back during the rise of the 16's.
>>29945840
Well that guy is a super soldier.
M249/Minimi can use mags but it tends to jam constantly because the ROF is higher than the mag's follower can keep up with. Maybe the Surefire mag would work better but a belt is still superior.
>>29945918
As far as I know the army just wanted it to have this feature so the soldiers could use normal mags if they ran out of belts in the field.
