>30th birthday coming up

>what gun should i get myself before hillary/trump fuck everything up
currently have sw 642 airweight, ruger sr22, savage in 30-06, ruger hawkeye .223 compact ss, ruger sr9c, mossberg 500, custom AR carbine, sig p238, ruger 10/22
considering my first 1911 or a m&p shield which would maybe be more comfortable for edc vs heavy sr9c/p238
pic is my ar build

a better ar and a 1911

Is that a 20" barrel on the right?
>>29927623
since i moved there aren't as many good rifle ranges near me and i work in the ghetto so more inclined towards handguns
do a lot of solo camping/hiking too. not grizzly country so i don't need anything big but i think the 642 will do for most situations
AR was about $1500 it's fine
>>29927656
What is the magazine name brand on the left? It's for the 5.56 version right?
If it's yours would you reccomend for a happsinening?
>>29927677
If you want a 1911 with your high budget, why not look into some of the custom manufacturers and get a Gucci one?
come to think of it i dont have any good optics for ar
thinking going that route and m&p to blast potential gangbangers
>>29927623
If you go for the M&P Shield don't forget to get an Apex trigger kit and maybe some good night sights, makes a world of difference.

8 inch SBR in .300 blk with a supressor

>Putting an optic on your SCAR
Pleb. That thing has the best ironsights in the entire game. You're MUCH better off grinding for extended mags. Use a TAR-21 or AK if you need a red dot fuckin bk.
Build a MK18 with a full power LA-5 and a surefire SOCOM RC
Maybe you should get more than an M&P and go hunt down whoever sold you that bitch ass AR for $1500

>If you go for the M&P Shield don't forget to get an Apex trigger kit
I don't have any actual experience with them, but the trigger on the one I tried out at my LGS was what I would consider a pretty good trigger. What would the kit do?
>>29927971
Don't listen to the gun nerds, the stock trigger is fine.
>>29927971
>Apex trigger kit
fingerboxes
>>29927748
>light ass trigger on a carry gun
>>29927971
>>29927991
stock trigger is fine, but the Apex trigger puts the M&P at the top of the striker pistol list.
>>29928021
for full size M&P line their kit can drop it to 4lbs, for the shield kit it's 5-5.5lbs.
>>29927589
H&K MARK 23. Arguably one of the best semi-automatic handguns made.
>>29928181
HAHA HA ha HA
From a pistol rest maybe but unless you have Shaq hands it has poor egro.

the 1911 seems like the more fun choice and the sr9c and 238 can cover the Shield for now. I also dont see that gun getting fucked by Clinton unless she magically repeals the second amendment.
Also mags and ammo.
>>29928276
Really? I heard that it's not that much bigger than a USP grip wise.
>>29927589
FD Defense .338 Lapua Magnum AR
>>29928479
It's big enough to be unwieldy, It's best as a piece for collectors not really much more.

Dont listen to that shitter with the small limp wrist, limp dick hands
the mark 23 is a masterful handgun that is proven over time.
It really is the best combat handgun

Les baer custom 1911. They are a thing of beauty. Personally i like their hemi build. All stainless with black accents.
>>29927623
I agree, though personally i would stick an elcan on there for shits'n'giggles
