there's a rifle rack above the back seat, and a space in the rear door where the jack goes where I could hide a rifle. I just put some beadlock wheels on it and 35" M/Ts, no lift needed. I have a CB radio and PA system because I'm sure that's tactical somehow.

Plans
>winch
>Swap dinosaur technology tier 4 speed auto for modern 6 speed
>build my own suspension with heavy duty axles and 38" tires
>Swap 5.3L V8 for build 6.2L - Maybe

Anyways, all that should fix the stuff they did wrong from the factory.

I have to wait until I buy my wife a new car. She's got a crown vic, (which is pretty tactical, right? I should put a police interceptor bumper and heavy duty equipment on it...... maybe).

inb4 hummers are gay. IDGAF what you think. I like it and they're very capable off-road. One day I'll buy an H1 and swap a duramax in it.

I'm going to mount a holster on the tranny hump near the seatbelt so it's easily accessible and hidden behind my leg. Anyone done this? Any other ways to "tacticool" your rig?

Make/model?
>>
>>29913380
the front axle is weak and it has a 4 speed auto. the 5 cyl is gutless, but there's a V8 available. Aftermarket is limited, but there are plenty of bumpers and lift kits available. Off road they are pretty good, comparable with a wrangler rubicon. front/rear lockers, good approach/departure angles, good articulation. It's just a fancy chevy with off-road suspension so they're pretty reliable. 125K miles on mine and no major problems.

>>29913383
Based on the colorado chassis, actually, but they only share 9% of their parts and most of that is drivetrain. They fit 35s just fine, people put them on all the time. I cranked the torsion bars a bit and that's all.

Itll still offroad circles around any of those toyotas or land rovers.
