Is the 10/22 a reliable firearm?
Would you consider it as your innawoods rifle?
>>29904128
>reliable
The gun is, yes. But it is only as reliable as the ammo used.
>innawoods
Bear country woods? Ummm, no.
>>29904128
I prefer guns that can kill
>Inb4 anecdotes of people getting shot in vital areas at close range and the bullet going in just deep enough to do damage
>>29904175
I am now mildly curious at what the average number of .22lr shots it would take to stop a bear
>>29904258
More than the average fudd has.
>>29904226
>getting shot in the toe with a .45 ACP will kill you and a shot to the chest with a .22 lr won't
It's all about shot placement m8
>>29904258
you'd have to be extremely lucky and either nick an artery or get a hit on the heart or another vital organ.
>>29904421
I never said the first statement
>>29904474
you basically did, cuck
>>29904497
>Calling me a cuck because I prefer more reliable calibers
You're the cuck for shilling for cuck ammo.
>>29904431
Depends on how many you use - something like an America-180 would completely shred a bear apart by sheer volume of fire, but it'd take a while to do so.
>>29904258
I can only imagine a 10/22 taking out a bear with this configuration
>innawoods
Do you have bears? .30-30 or larger levergun, .308 or larger semi-auto, or a 12ga with slugs.
Do you just have angry pigs and people? Any of the above or any .30+ rifle.
