I know about maxim's suppressors, but there were never any threads on the Thompson for suppressor use. Also there were never any wartime period mods to the Thompson for use with the suppressor.
The only time a Thompson barrel was suppressed back in the war was on the De Lisle carbine but that was on a Enfeild bolt action
And there is no fucking way that sight looks like the pictured one or would fit on any of guns in the game and they were never used in the war.

Breh, if you think there was ever gonna be a game anything like the old ones, you're nothing short of delusional, Doom 3 and Doom 4 can only realistically be considered as separare from the classic games.
Though it had an awful shotgun, the chainsaw was nothing short of terrific and is probably the highlight of the game.
In Doom 3, you can realistically fight a lot of the bigger and meaner monsters with the chainsaw, with the right skill.
In the originals, the chainsaw was only good for mooks, try to fight a baron or mancubus with the saw in the classics and they'll rape you.
For all of Doom 3s flaws, it has the better saw.

The Third Reich only lasted for a couple of years before falling over, the Soviet Union lasted for several decades and was gigantic.
There's still a couple of smoldering embers left, and many parts of the world are still reeling from their bullshit.
