I agree with OP, I've been coming to /k/ less in the last month or so, it's going downhill again. Although I'm completely okay with the summer kiddies taking over for the season, gives me more incentive to go hiking and do longer trips. I go out regardless of the season but with /k/ being a total shithole during the summer months it adds an hour or two to my day for other stuff.
And just when a few anons were attempting to make the /ak/ threads great again with actual discussion on certain contents and making a comic, while limiting the use of image dumping for chapter dumps, it all took a few /a/utists to fuck it over with their image dumps.

Taking /k/ seriously to begin with was your first mistake.
The only threads here that continue to deliver are the ME/Syria threads, and that is mainly due to a few dedicated namefags.
Otherwise this place has always only been good for occasional laughs, photo dumps aren't bad either.
