Well, I'm not only a dependant on paper. My family pays all my bills and gives me a bit of money to live on every semester. After moving I'll be paying my own bills with assistance from them if I need it, but I should still be able to use their health policy, which will save me about 2k a year. I'm also on their auto insurance.
Typing this out really helps me realize how college prevents financial independence, but it's still a net gain, as far as I can tell.

Because I've been here for years. All I had planned for today was doing laundry and relaxing, and maybe go out for dinner somewhere. The business isn't like a traditional business, there's no formal location (it's actually run out of my house), and I do contracts sporadically. I take calls/make calls for about 3 hours a day, but that's about it. Most work requires me driving a fuckton, 200+ miles in some cases... so when I'm refueling, sitting around doing nothing at a job site waiting on launch boats or helicopters, or just in my off-time I still post here.
I have so much off-time, so I spend my time browsing /k/, /o/, /out/, /fit/, etc. I essentially live the NEET life, but I'm still a "professional" and make money, but work sometimes comes slowly.
