Anyone else order a Manhurin MR73 from Classic Firearms? I impulsively ordered one but admittedly don't know all that much about them. I've looked around on the Internet and can't find that much info on them. Anyone on /k/ own one? I've heard they're supposed to be great revolvers but the finish (surplus grade "good") isn't the best. Should I consider refinishing it? Can it take standard K-frame speed loaders? I've heard they're some of the more robust .357 revolvers around so will I have trouble putting hot, "Ruger only" loads through it? Was it a solid purchase for $500? Please educate me on everything MR73

Classic shill pls go.
>>
>>29832590
But they're already sold out.
>>
>>29832564
It's a $500 gun, you get what you pay for. All these well worn MR73's show up on Aim Surplus, Classic, and similar sites then get snatched up right away by people who think they're getting some legend.
>>
>>29832564
I ordered one. I have read a little about them mostly regarding durability and their actions are supposed to be great. If my is a good shooter and right mechanically I may have it reblued. I will post when it shows up (has yet to ship but I'm in tn and classic is in nc so hopefully it won't take long)

FUCK Century's import markings

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
>>
>>29834678
Yeah century are a bunch of peckers with their import marks. I don't understand the need to billboard it. I have some guns from other importers where they are like under the barrel and shit. But nooooo
>>
>>29834678
right on the barrel too

hahahahahahaha
>>
They're fine revolvers, but these ones will be beat to shit and not even really worth the $500 they're asking. An actual good/mint condition one is worth $2k.
>>
>>29834716
Have you bought a previous one from another batch or something? Or just shitposting?

>Or just shitposting?

I'm not him but Classic overstates the condition on a lot of their stuff. Sorry that the anon you're responding to made you realize you're not getting pic
>>
>>29832564
Why does that look like a 3d model was used for the gun?
>>
>>29834749
The blurry background
>>
>>29834746
Kek I realize it's not a $2000 gun they are graciously selling for $500. But all of this speculation when every other batch has had success and no reports of guns out of time, just a worn finish, lend more value to me than some random shit posting anons with no real experience. And I ordered a m39 back when from them and got a beautiful gun with an imperial eagle before they started charging for them. Classic been good to me.
>>
>>29834726
>Telling you the truth that I've gleamed from my own research and other people's experience is shitposting.
Buddy, I don't want to ruin your dream of owning a fine MR-73, but for $500 on classic firearms, it's just not coming true.
>>
>>29834770
These are police trade ins that are likely to have worn finishes and even surface rust.

They have not been sitting in a warehouse covered in grease for 60 years unissued.

>K frame speed loaders
Yup, it'll take em
>Solid purchase
I'd think so. I picked mine up from AIM for $400 two years ago. Smoothest double action trigger I've felt
>>29834678
Seriously, fuck CAI and their import mark. At least they brought them into the country
>>
>>29834781
>>29834796
Jesus Christ no one expects them to have a beautiful deep blue finish you tards. If the gun functions properly I am happy at that price.

But I will be sure to call and cancel my order bc the finish will be worn.
>>
>>29834678
I think there are services that will peen it out for you.
>>
>>29834805
Good thing you bought from aim. Apparently we can expect classic will ship a rusted frame and grips and call it a gun.
>>
It's French surplus, expect a lot of wear on the finish, small nicks and scratches from being dropped on the ground, but all the internals will be like new because it has never been fired.

I don't like buying from classic anyways

>YOU'RE SHITPOSTING SHADDAP SHADDAP SHADDP
>another anon tells you this
>KILL YOU'RESELF

Pipe the fuck down you child. You admitted to impulsively purchasing it and you asked about the condition. They gave you an answer and a damn correct one.

Have you ever fucking bought a surplus/trade in gun? You didn't even do your research on them.

>>
>>29834873
Lol wut? Theres multipule people in the thread, are you seriously agreeing with that anon that the gun was dropped many time, never fired?
>>
>>29834873
>They gave you an answer and a damn correct one.
Are you retarded?
>>
>>29834813
You're also supporting intellectual property thieves.

These are the fuckers that stole a bunch of gif's without credit from Othais (the C&Rsenal guy), and when he bitched (which he had every right to do), they sent him a destroyed Schmidt Rubin.

Classic can eat my asshole.
>>
>>29834986
Wait, the fucked over Othais? Fuckers, thier prices aren't even that good most times.
>>
>>29834873
What are you talking about. Firstly, multiple people. Second, he said it wasn't worth the money even though clean ones go for multiple thousands. No one said anything about scratched finishes. And unless you are blind you can see the finish is rough in the classic ad.

>replying to a Simpsons shitposter

I already lost.

My century stamps usually wear down so it's not as noticeable
