Otherwise I just finished a playthrough of CoP with the Arsenal Overhaul mod. I wish there was an option to limit ammunition and price it super high because otherwise it is kinda a cakewalk.

Misery is great if you want a whole hell of a lot more simulationist aspects to the game, to the point that Misery is best described as "Starving Slav Hobo" simulator" moreso than just a feature addon to CoP.
Most complaints generally fall towards the completely borked economy and lack of decent loot on human enemies, but these things can be mitigated with a few minutes of notepad editing, or tossing on one of many submods to make the game less bleak.
Version 2.2 is coming out soon which is a major overhaul, so you may wish to wait lest you get used to the old version just in time to have to unlearn tricks and techniques that are no longer relevant.
