It's hilarious, I don't even have the adjusted gas block installed on mine, 50% laziness, 50% all I shoot is surplus M2 ball, and it flings shit all over. It even bounces off the tin roof over the lanes sometimes.

Should I take my M1 to a gunsmith to make sure it won't blow up and kill me cause of a faulty Op-rod or any other issue? I'm Canadian and just got my dream M1. Don't want to fuck it up. Honestly I'm more worried about hurting my M1 than dying.

You can't hurt it. The worse thing you can do is bend the op rod by shooting commercial ammo. If that's all you can get, invest in a gas plug. These rifles survived many boot camps, a world war and Korea.
