Sorry, I'm gonna have to agree to disagree on that one. Collateral was well-made, but it still just felt like it was just a crime movie made for tom Cruise to be a badass in, where as John Wick almost felt like it was more focused on the martial arts throughout the whole movie than just a good scene or two.

In all honesty, I feel like people forget how incredibly horrible WW1 was. Short of acute torture, a WW1 infantryman on the western front endured the worst conditions a man can possibly endure.

I see your point, but for me when it comes to /k/-related less is more so to speak.

A gun feels more real to me when it is used 2/3 times in a movie, rather than blasting away until the barrel melts right before the credits.

To each his own.

On that note, this movie is /k/-related as fuck for me and I couldn't explain how unless you watched it.

To get back behind the lines they generally had to dodge machine gun and mortar fire. Even just going back a few kilometers would take hours because of how slowly and carefully they had to move.

I remember the prop behind the scenes of this, watching them play with the super bendy candlestick and book, who were made of something like some weird elastic gum was almost as fun. This and them playing with sugar glass, it's impressive to see them break windows and all and then you have the propguys smashing prop-glass like it's nothing because... it is nothing. Quite fun.

I realize the camera is way to quick in many fight scenes. A large screen is always better to visualize what's going on, but then you'll realize everything's fake as fuck so...
