The problem with the RTI, as well as the tons that are listed on GB, the crack is in sort of a crucial place. I have contacted a couple of smiths that say even if the crack is repaired, they would not guarantee or use the uppers.

It happened about 10 rounds in or so, I cleared the rifle, pulled the mag and made sure the rounds were seated right, put it back in, seated the mag and racked it, wouldn't feed, tried re-racking it twice. Wound up unloading it by hand later.

I just installed my Magpul Pro LR rear sight and noticed that it gives a very different sight picture experience than pretty much every other rear sight I've used. Not sure if it's good or bad, since I haven't taken it shooting yet, but at first glance, I like it.

This. I have two bachelor's degrees (granted they're lol tier) but I have a pretty decent network of mostly lawyers and business owners. I worked construction through my undergraduate because I was diversifying my skill set. I'm the same age as Giddy and I'm just now getting serious calls back about big boy jobs. I wish I had known what I know now about education and instead just went to trade school for machining or welding. Still in the trades though, leading a crew right now.

Trades are legit but they're hit or miss like any career, I got a legit B.S. but couldn't land any decent paying job. Luckily I got into a grad program with excellent job security when I finish my degree.

Yeah definitely on being hit or miss. I'm in roofing. The pay is not bad but fuck is it hard on my body. I was trying to work my way up the company and thought I had a way into the office back in January. That didn't pan out so I'm seeking other work. Interviewed with the feds but I think if I get a job offer I'm going to decline because I hate the feds.
