I was lucky enough to find myself a Gen 2 Sub 2000 the other day for 429.00, NIB, with one Glock 17 PMAG, from Academy Sports.
It's had a good overall first impression on me. Ran a boresnake through it, sprayed some CLP on the bolt, and went straight to the range.
After about 150 rounds of Herters, Freedom, and Wolf, the irons were zeroed(no it didn't take that much to zero it), and I experienced no issues from the weapon or mag. Field stripping is pretty simple for the cleanup.
So my question is, what is the ideal 9mm load for this weapon? Something like 147 grain I'm assuming? I have a Glock 19, so I'd like a good in-between that'll work for both so I can buy the exact round in bulk to use for both weapons.
For defense? 147gr Federal HST all day, err day.

For a sub gun. Hornady Z-max (most common to find). Just because some sub guns have issues loading hollow points. Also take advantage of the extra velocity you get

To my knowledge, it's literally v max but with a green tip instead of red. Same with the breast cancer bullets hornady makes.
As for critical duty, it's for leo's that require barrier penetration and defense is for cc and minimilazing overpenetration
Anybody suggest this for a truck gun?
I have a hard on for one with a 4x scope. But what's the moa for 100 yards?

Well in my opinion, Itd be a great truck gun. One down fall to the design, however, is that if you mount an optic on the top rail, the weapon cannot be folded.

Mine highly perfers 9mm natos and heavier bullets, it is not a fan of 115 grains.
Jams now and then with them.
With natos or +p's never a problem.

Well I ran 100 rounds of 115 grain with no issue, and half of that was Wolf. But I intend on using a heavier round.

They do give you breast cancer, as in causing ballistic trauma on your breast if you get shot by it
