Eh as far as I've seen it isn't a harem, the series seems to focus on the main girl (ako) and trying to fix her Yandere and dis-associative personality disorder. Its handled in a comedic way and doesn't seem to take itself seriously.
One scene comes to mind where Ako thinks that Rusian (BF) is cheating on her with their teacher and attempts to stab her teacher with a fake box cutter.

I think it's supposed to be a reference to another manga. When the mangaka was called out on it he said he played around with airsoft guns for reference and that was the best 'sniping position' in his opinion. Can't remember the name of the mangaka or the manga for the life of me though.
Netoge also drops 2chan memes and other videogame memes throughout so it wouldn't suprise me if it was done mockingly.
