The original Tavor is dogshit, but they improved a lot with the X95. You still get gas in your face, especially if you shoot suppressed, but not nearly as much. Jericho is a wonderful CZ-75 variant. Other than the Finnish Rk.62/Rk.95, the Galil is probably the best AK variant out there. Uzis are outdated now, but only until recently they were some of the best and most reliable SMGs ever made. The Negev is a neat LMG, and has a very light recoil impulse much like the Stoner LMGs. I had the pleasure of shooting one a couple years ago, and it was pretty great.

The biggest issue is the light You really don't have a good way to attach a light and have quick activation without buying an aftermarket handguard (which feel like shit in the hand). I have a tapswitch on the same angled rail as the light is on. Its adequate but not optimal. Somebody needs a surefire switch designed for the factory hangduard.

The Tavor is purpose built for running into mud huts hosing down sand niggers. The trigger doesn't have to be good when you're slinging 5.56 at ~800rpm from point blank range. It's actually pretty bad ass when used as intended.

I have both the flex swivel and the modular forearm with the surefire scout and a pressure switch mounted outside. It works superb. Also, no more gas in my face due to flex swivel

I say this out of experience. My service rifle had a full auto option just like the rest. My friend got one with loctite-ed switch, but the company commander allowed him to clean the glue if he wants to bother.
The idea that stood behind this stupid initiative is that IDF's doctrine rejects any use of full auto for anything that isn't designated for it, such as LMGs, so "might as well just block the option". But nobody was THAT stupid to produce assault rifles for the military with the auto option removed all together.
Your photo seems very wired to me: 3 left-handed guys, aiming at the wall, 2 are having full-sized Tavors (which weren't fully implemented yet when replaced by the X95) while the X95 has an uncharacteristic MARS sight and a very unusual grip. Something is fishy about it, so I wouldn't make judgments based on it.
