Humanitarian groups like Doctors Without Borders and missionaries only exist to make their members feel good and to give them something to brag about if they make it back home.
Its a good conversation starter. But that's its only value.
They cannot provide consistence medical care. Everything they do is patchwork. Their patients suffer and likely die of reopened wounds down the line. There are no post-operation observation periods. Just hackneyed work that makes medical students and the religious pat themselves on the back.
