Hi /k/ onegunz here (shitty mosin). What is the best revolver for entry level? I really want a single action of some sort, preferably 45lc. Help. I have a rough rider on the way, just to learn how to use a single action system. I really want a 45lc tho. Do what's the best? Preferably under 300$. Is pic related good?

No advice on topic but I will say get a 357, its going to be more versatile and cheaper to shoot with 38spec

The pattern on the pic is shitty for a case hardened skin, wouldn't even give 10 keys for it.

Ruger New Vaquero. I think they're like $500+, but they're great guns. I have one in .45 ACP and it's the tits.

>829$
Uhhhh no. If I wanted to spend that much I'd say fuck it and buy a real colt.

>Under 300
Nigger just get a Ruger Blackhawk in 357

500+$

Wow, they really shot up in price since I bought mine. Well, if you can find a used one go for it. I think they're the only cowboy action revolvers with a transfer bar so you can carry fully loaded without having to worry about shooting yourself in the foot.
On the topic of revolvers:
No guns walked into shop asking for reliable, under $350 hand gun. Owner was carrying revolver and suggested some .22 and 22mag interchangables to him.
Anyone want to share thoughts on beginner handguns?
Thanks, -no gunz

The 22lr/22mag is a heritage rough rider.
Classic firearms has a deal on them 129.99 each. Good little guns from what I hear. Like I said I have one on the way.

decent 22lr revolvers cost a lot more than decent 22lr semi autos. Like 550+ . Look at browning buckmark, is good semi. Ruger also good but cleaning need taking apart 2700 parts.
If you want a really reliable .22 revolver- get a used Ruger Single Six.
1911 is best revolver
Webley mk V in .455

where are you seeing $829?

>Ruger New Vaquero
Do not listen to this anon. The action is nothing like a Colt or a Cimarron, and uses a modern action that is pure utilitarian and takes out all of the fun of reloading it. Plus transfer bar safeties are faggy, I love the look of a hammer mounted firing pin.

I saw a .44 black powder for 250 on Slick Guns if you're interested.
Under 300 is going to be hard unless you get lucky.

These are a lot of fun for the money. They are well made, too.
