Spray the shit out of the action with. BreakFree CLP, let it soak, spray again, jam that fucking action back. What do you have to lose really
>>
>>29762651

have you tried mortaring the fucker out?
>>
>>29762754
Tried mortaring didn't work I gave her a healthy bath of CLP I'll try again in a few
>>
>>29762502
There's a little button beside the rear of the trigger guard. Depress said button while cycling the action
>>
>>29762857
Yea doesn't work

>>
>>29762903
Yeah that ain't right, did you just buy this thing or did you just suddenly have this problem?
>>
>>29762903
Oh fuck.

How did you acquire this gun OP?

I swear if you got it from niggers or spics..
>>
>>29762926
I've had it for years, I also noticed that while trying to figure out what was wrong but the pin won't go back flush
>>
>>29762949
Here is where I would go ahead and see a gunsmith OP
>>
>>29762973
Go ahead explain.... It's a cheap shotgun I'm not gonna be upset if it is garbage
>>
>>29762949
the bolt can travel back enough that you can take the barrel off. do that to remove the round then take it apart

>>29763004
It's not normally garbage senpai. It looks like the (elevator?) came out of place causing it to jam up.

Do what anon above said and remove the barrel to try and get it out.

You're probably gonna need a new elevator, only like $30 online IIRC
>>
>>29763005
I took the barrel off and depressed the button on the left side of the trigger while moving the extractor with a pocket knife and the round still won't dislodge although it spins freely
>>
>>29762603
ya, thats mine lol
>>
>>29763056
Try working the action forward

looks like the lifter is causing it to malfunction

get a flat head screwdriver and push it down while pushing the forearm rearward
>>
>>29762502
take the barrel off and push the round out the front
>>
>>29763098
if its the lifer bent or binding hed be best off removing the trigger group then fucking with it
>>
Uhgggg this is crust as hell... Still doesn't explain why that round moves freely but won't eject

it was only 700. worth it? i dont know, its a retarded gun with literally no purpose but people love to shoot it so i guess it was. and i dont think they had a 4 shot when i bought this. they only had this and the 3 shot Remington version at my LGS anyways.

>>29763293
yeah your shell lifter somehow moved in the gun
it was preventing the bolts movement backwards and all your fuckery has made things worse and its locked up solid
probably bent to hell
you need to remove the trigger group and get at it from below
>>
Had a similar problem with my 40 year old Mossberg 500. Gunsmith said the trigger was broke if I remember correctly. Take it to a gunsmith.
>>
Op here got the round out Gun won't fire or cycle... Thanks for the help but it's not worth my time trash can

take the trigger group off, dummy. if only to remove the shell

Give it to someone (not retarded) to fix.

Then, maybe if they're nice you'll get it back.

Mossy's are good guns when you take care of them.

Yeah the Mav88 being good is a load of horseshit. I have a Mav88 and the piece of shit failed to eject the first time I shot it. I had to almost smash the slide back to eject it. After tons of oiling, the gun now works fine but it's still shit.

>you get what you paid for

I honestly don't have much complaints. The shotgun does what it is supposed to do 95% of the time. I don't do home defence so it's fine. Everything is perfectly okay.
>>
>>29765285
My Mossberg has never failed me.
>>
>>29762502
>>29763441
OP from looking at these pictures i can tell what the matter. This problem is actually very common amongst Mavericks/Mossbergs. You see how your shotgun shell says "Remington" on it? You have to shoot either Mossberg, or Maverick ammunition out of your gun, Remington ammunition is made for Remington's only.
>>
>>29765298
Mine neither until about 5,000 rounds, and then about 7,000.

Two malfunctions in 7,000 rounds with a gun I've never taken apart except when it broke the second time sounds as reliable as any of it's competitors.

>>29765285
Mine has had difficulty ejecting shells I've found while hunting. (I gave them the madmax test and they passed) It pulled it partially out of the barrel and I knifed it out the rest of the way. What did you do with the gun? I'm positive mossberg would have handled it. They have phenomenal customer support.
>>
>>29762502
Have you tried turning it upside down to make a wossberg?
>>
>>29765343
>bought a new Mav88 from Canadian Tire
>took it into the gravel pit 3 hours away
>shot it at some beer cans (wasn't mine)
>shell wouldn't eject
>I shot a 2 3/4 inch number 4 birdshot out of my Mav 88 (chambered for 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch)
>some nice drunk weed smoking guys tried to help me out
>had to almost smash the slide back to get it to eject
>they told me to oil the action
>next few shots ejected OK
>went home and oiled it
>went back into gravel pit
>it ejects fine now

I'm still salty. I wouldn't recommend this shotgun.
>>
>>29765372
How many shells do you have through it now?

I love my maverick. Only shotgun I own but I've used plenty growing up. Best $100 I've ever spent.

It's seen some shit.

>Hiking trip
>last day, we have to follow a river
>friends decide to float down with their gear in a vortex bag. (Worked good enough).
>friend has shotgun across his back
>goes down mini waterfall, about 3ft high but it was a fuckton of water. Like the water going off was 3-4ft deep.
>shotgun gets caught on both rocks
>friend gets completely flipped upside down and does a backflip because of sling.
>shotgun wedged between rocks
>he un-wedges it and chucks it a good 50ft down river cursing to high heaven
>gun bounces off exposed rock with distinct ping.
>he abandons it and keeps going
>friend B rescues it and then sold it to me.

Works fucking great.

Yeah, but is this a representative sample of the stock or just a lucky case?
>>
>>29765372
I've had shells that stick, namely green box remingtons.
All other shells have been flawless.
>>
>>29766237
He hasn't actually put 7000 rounds through it. 700, maybe. People with shitty shotguns like to make up shit.
>>
>>29766237
probably not since OP had the same issue I had. Also the other part that broke was the forend which they've also changed I believe. So they're notable weak points.

the broken forend turned it into a single shot for the rest of my trip, and the OP problem was field fixed.

You bent or otherwise ruined pic related, OP.

Take the trigger group out by tapping out the pin and toss this part. Buy a new one for about $20.

Two of these is a days shooting for clays. I've owned the shotgun nearly ten years. I also haven't missed a dove or duck season in that time. But sure tiger, call people liars on the internet. Mossberg fucking pays me to shill their mexican shit on 4chan at 3 in the goddamn morning when I have school in a few hours and can't fucking sleep because I don't have shit better to fucking do. Now please, contribute something of note to the discussion or fucking kill yourself.
