Egyptian Army or Turkish Army ? which is more stronger ?
>>
>>29712004

more strong or stronger.

not more stronger
>>

Turks

Probably Turkish. Egyptian is corrupt mess or par with Syrian army (pre-civil war), while Turkish has made efforts to get themselves modern first world equipment and training. That said, the Turkish military is still brought down by the same workshy cultural trappings that make the Italian military so farcically shit, so good toys doesn't equal good army.

The Egyptians were always more capable than their Syrian counterparts (in the Israeli-Arab wars anyway).
Part of the reason is their greater marshal tradition another part is their greater population and thus economy.

Since the Israeli-Egyptian peace agreement Egypt has been getting US aid (second in fund size after Israel) and has been enjoying a better economy than Syria.
The pre civil war Syrian army was already half way falling apart, for example most of their helicopters were not flight worthy even before the war.

The Turkish army really more advanced than the Egyptian one, it depends on the arm in question.
For example, while Turkey has some Leo2 tanks the bulk of their armour is made up from upgraded M60 variants, meanwhile the bulk of the Egyptian armour is made up from Abrams (M1A2SEP and M1A1).

On the other hand Turkey has a slightly more advanced airforce afaik.

The big difference between the two is in culture. This is where Turkey takes the cake big time.

If it ever came to land war between the two, somehow, Turkey would destroy Egypt.

The Turkish army ***isn't*** really more advanced than the Egyptian one,
>>
Whoever loses, we win.
>>
Well i don't think Turkey would really ""destroy"" Egypt as i saw those replies...The backbone of the Turkish airforce is F-16's exactly like Egypt (roughly the same number of aircrafts) + Egypt acquired some new advanced aircrafts like the french Rafale. Meanwhile Turkish is still operation F-4 Phantom's and F-5's.
Comparing land equipment, they have both the same level of strengthen (Leo 2 tanks and M1A1 are both advanced tanks + both sides have a large number of upgraded M60's).

The only thing that we can compare is their soldier mentally.

Note : Turkish military have one of the highest soldier suicide rate in non-combat time. Meanwhile Egyptian soldiers are briefly trained to warfare electronics.
Are the turkish soldiers ready to fight ?

Meanwhile Turkey*
Their soldier mentality*

Egypt was more at war than Turkey// Egyptians are more nimble at this point

Turkish soldiers fight on an almost constant basis in the southeastern region of their country, Syria and Iraq (that ATGM video from a few days ago where the turkish tank survived a Kornet? remember?)

Egypt has the arab mentality while the turks pride themselves on their army a lot.
Since they went republic, they never backed down or lost any conflict.
Their kemalist air force routinely goes dogfighting against greek air force in the aegean, participates and excels at Tiger meets, meanwhile egypts airforce gets shot down in droves by a few IAF planes.

I'd say Egyptians. After they got steamrolled by da joos in 6 days due to US F16's, they kinda got their shit together.

Dogfighting greek airforce ? Wow ! greek airforce ! sooo powerful.

"Egypts airforce gets shot down in droves by a few IAF planes" are you talking back in the 60s-70s ? when Egypt was trying to get a real voice in the cold war not like Turkey who was serving as a platform to install some Pershing 2 missiles to threaten CCCP, nothing more than that.
The last engagement between the EAF and the IAF was back in 1973. Never heard about a plane shot down by the IAF since.

You need to learn more, Egypt is involved in Sinai, Yemen and Libya they are fighting on "constant basis" too with real terrorists. (not kurds)
They participate in some trainings too... Did you heard about Operation Bright Star with the USA ? it's a very prominent training operation not like "Tiger meets". Lolz

"Arab mentality" not really man. I visited Egypt and they are so westernize. it's the country of pharaohs not because the arab culture is dominating their that they don't have some pharaonic genes !!!
