Hey /k/ Im not a professional at this shit and honestly, Im bamboozled. Is it a clip or a magazine on this imaginary weapon.
Drum.

clip. magazine completely encloses the round and is detachable.
Probably some kind of clip, assuming that half circle thing is where ammo is loaded
Kind of reminds me of how the bastard In metro is reloaded
>>29562251
I'd call it an integrated magazine that is probably loaded with clips
I play Warframe as well and I'm curious.
Here's an animation of how exactly how this works, in case it matters.
They're picatinny rails.

That's a magazine
>>29562251
It's a clip since it doesn't actively feed the gun, it is moved up by the gun then discarded.
Like the Hotchkiss 1914. It would be fed by a flat stiff clip, and would spit it out once all the rounds where gone.
>>29562276
Magazines can be attached too dingus
>>29562412
A clip is a loading aid. It is obvious from the animation posted that it is a detachable feeding tool. It is a magazine.
Clipazine.
>>29562473
clips and magazines arent mutually exclusive
>>29562506
>en bloc magazine
>>29562251
It's called a feed strip.
>>29562376
magazine
>>29562631
In technical terminology yes, they are.
>>29562376
Yeah, that works exactly like a feed strip.
LOL
This thread reminds me of those old math problem riddles, where they'd write the problem incorrectly (usually using a รท sign) and then everyone would argue about order of operations and such.
After reading this, I agree that "feed strip" is the best term, rather than magazine or clip.
