How so? For immobile target shooting I'd take the diopter sight, but any sort of mobile firing I'd take a red dot any fucking day. Target acquisition is so much easier and faster with it than with the sights. Being cross dominant sure as hell doesn't help the matter either.

Not anyone of the above posters but I'm generally a "rifle is fine fag". I don't usually buy rails for my guns and run them as is. I like irons. And usually how a gun is almost stock. I make exceptions for aftermarket parts that directly improve a rifle or make it easier to use.
I don't generally like the look of slapped on rails on a gun. Or adding 12 pounds of acessories to an AR to mall-ninja it. Same with AK patterns. But I care much less if what was done is easily reversible. I don't give a shit if someone drops their nagant into a new stock that's not wood. Good for them. Especially if they can add things they want to use on it. Even better.
I just have a distaste for people who put on quad-rails and accessories they never use or have no need for. I can't even begin to count how many double optic, laser and flashlight plus grip, 17 prong shark tooth flash hider, iphone case mount upper, bad dragon silicon handle, bright red 7 foot long name engraved charging handle signed by the entire cast of duck dynasty(even some ducks), Railcover with an entire chick-tract in color on it (full size), AR's pop up at ranges, shoot sub 4 lane MOA's, bitch about their gun and ammo, then go home.
Also a lot of guns with rails slapped on look tacky to me. Some just look wrong all together, and some look tacky when they go for cheaper options. But honestly, if you're using what you bought, and not just taping it to your rifle? I don't care. You shoot how you shoot, I shoot how I shoot.
