I been gone for like 2 years /k/ and suddenly i got the urge to build a AR15 in 9mm. What the fuck happened to all the cheap upper receivers and upper receivers in general?
Before you could find slick side uppers for $30 now they cant be had at all. Most websites are sold out of them wtf is going on?
Does anyone know whats going on with Anderson i emailed them about when they expect to make more with no reply

9mm AR's don't use a forward assist just adds weight and looks stupid.
In a perfect world i would like to have the upper i posted with no shell deflector but has a dust cover so i can use the correct 9mm door and gas deflector. But i would settle for a cheap completely slick side with no door.

Best I've seen them was 45 about 1 year ago. Probably some increased demand from the upcoming election, and lightweight builds are pretty popular.
You can get a DPMS slick side on midway/brownells but it is fatter so might not be flush with the lower.
