What's /k/'s opinion on the CAR?
>>29550458
i suppose it has its some merits in a handful of situations but its largely goofy tactiqueer shit

If you don't raise your elbow like the two retards side by side it's a fine grip, it's just holding the pistol closer to your face, I find it makes target shooting easier
>>29550458
works pretty well from vehicles and other small enclosed spaces. otherwise it's not all that useful.

IIRC useful in CQC but other than that there are better ways.
It worked well for Paul Woodrugh.

only usefull when used properly, there's also many way to hold your pistol during CAR and the elbow one ( OP pic ) is the most knowed becasue you can easily switch between CAR and isoscele for mid range targets

I see the CAR getting a lot of shit from people. For example, James Yeager in a video just spent a solid minute just laughing at it, not even talking, just laughing at it. It seems like these people don't understand it's just for small confined spaces and not for mid/long range shooting. I haven't had the chance to try it myself (nogunz europoor) but it looks pretty useful in CQB.

Until a guy shot and killed him.
1. Go to range
2. Try it out

I have a severe case of iron deficiency
My hands shake like a mother fucker
Shooting long arms has no repercussions with it. I can hold them steady just fine and I'm decently accurate too.
But with handguns it's blatantly obvious it's debilitating for my skill because I can't even keep the front and rear sights aligned even slightly.
Holding them in that fashion though is a little more comfortable for me and it helps staying aligned a little better.

Iron deficiency? How'd that happen?
