Nah. Buying ammo is like buying bananas.
>>
>>29537854
if you look under 18, yes.

Also, you'll need it for online ammo purchases, and you'll need to prove you're 21 if you're buying handgun ammo. (or lie and say you have a carbine)
>>
No

You can order that shit online and have it shipped directly to your door

Not true. Ive never been asked for my ID for online purchases. I do need to sign for the package when UPS comes but he never asks for ID

In Commifornia, soon.

It depends on where you live.

Plus, the last time I ordered ammo online was like 6 years ago from aimsurplus so it could've even been their policy/legislation changed.

Anyone order ammo from these guys?

I've never ordered ammo online before, and my only worry is that I might not be home when the ammo gets to my doorstep.

If I'm not there, will they leave the box at my door? Or will they take it back and slap me with a restocking fee?
>>
I bought 200 rounds of .45 acp from midway USA no questions asked.

The UPS guy just threw it on the ground in the mailroom of my apartment complex.

In Cuckafornia they card me, but just to check my age and just for handgun ammo.

I'm not even sure if it's a law, but it's pretty much the same as buying booze here.

sgs fine
they give you the option of paying extra for a signature and excess insurance
if you choose no for both they just leave it at the door
if you select sign then yeah you have to be there
sg doesn't require id either just check the box

overall painless to deal with unlike aimsurplus which requires you to scan an id before selling ammo

Sgammo is a great company. UPS will leave it at your door, or toss it in your backyard, or put it in your garage, whatever you want. Just specify in the "special delivery instructions" at the checkout screen. I knew I wasnt going to be home for the delivery once, so I asked the guy to go into my backyard and leave it at the sliding glass door. He did exactly that
>>
>>29537854
you do in NJ
>>
>>29537873
Never been asked for ID online.
>>
>>29538201
Sites like Aim Surplus and J&G ask for ID, just depends where you buy from
>>
>>29537854
Not legally but some places ask for ID. You have to be 18 for rifle, shotgun and handgun ammunition used in a long gun & 21 for handgun ammo when you are using it in a handgun.

Now with all that said i bought a crate of yugo M67 & 3 75rd drums from my LGS when I was 16y/o.

I ordered a thousand rounds of PMC Bronze .223 and the cunts at the USPS left it on my porch in the rain

Welcome to the world, junior. And if your ammo doesn't stand up to inclement weather then the delivery service did you a favor.

I'm mostly just upset about them not even having the courtesy to put it in the clear plastic bags like UPS does and some of the little 20 round boxes getting destroyed
>>
>>29538528
They're too busy. You might could ask the shipper to do something like that for an added fee.
