Personally I find the model from ODST the most aesthetically pleasing.
From what I've seen, the design might be something like a striker fired desert eagle. It may have an internal hammer instead, but I don't know why it would.
The laser/light attachment wouldn't be too hard to make by hand.
The front portion which is bolted on looks like little more than a weight for recoil compensation.
The ejection alludes me. Models I've seen would imply it ejects directly upward, but it ejects left ingame. It doesn't seem like there is enough clearance for ejection in either case.
The rest is more or less trivial.
