bullet already spins, and since its pretty fucking hot, it will "float" on vapor, so the friction is basically nothing.
I guess the ice breaks away in such a way, that the bullet doesnt get fucked at the impact

Since the ice doesn't have that much friction, and its solid enough to bounce it without absorbing all the impact there's not much to impede the bullet spinning, which is normal.

Ice isn't that strong. Hard, maybe, but brittle. I once managed to de-ice my walkway by hitting the ice with a rubber mallet.

Have you ever seen water droplets on an extremely hot pan or electric ceramic glass stove? They bounce on the surface like a bead instead of breaking and evaporating.
