As a side note the Tiger "replica" in the OP is one of the better knock offs I've seen, not perfect but "ok"

My autism cannot get past any 'replica' that doesn't ahve interleavered road wheels.

She can take it.
IIRC it had a pre-selector and a semi-automatic gearbox, so whether that's something to do with it.

The road wheels, sprocket and idler. These are always the hardest part of these repros.

>ib4 huur early pattern have rubber tires autist do you even tiger

The wheels on this tank are actually welded, the tires are painted black, unless they improved it since the construction pics I seen. The real ones were pressed steel and had a nice contour, these don't they are made of flat plate, the hubs are also fudged as they are not mounted to the swing arm as they would be on the real tiger

The Sprocket is a tiger looking tooth ring / spokes that bolted to a T55 sprocket hub, The real tiger the hub and spokes were casted as one piece, and the tooth ring would be bolted to the hub,

The idler wheel is also a complete joke.

Moving on the grill work is made of flat plate, real tiger was cast. The copula is also where this build falls short, the specs are off and to me stick out like a soar thumb

The fucking barrel is in the recoiled state, and is too short, like looking at an old school heng long rc model... which is probably what they did.

no interior detail on hatches... etc I can go on and on

>perfect,
NO!

The best thing that this build has going is the track, this was because they went and made molds / castings of real tiger links.

Also here is a pic of the real tiger 131, not the barrel is emerging from the mantlet barrel shroud at the proper length, only when the gun is recoiling does it look like the one on the counterfeit

they made thier own hull, and turret, so dimensional it is really close to the real one, that they did right, power pack and cooling system is T55 or T72. again if your going to go fugazzi, this is the way to do it

Yeah I've this one, Pretty good for a replica, still the same issues as the OP pic one with the suspension, and flat plate parts. however the gun is the proper length. One area where this build is off though is the hull plate thickeners.

Since these "tanks" are made with much thinner plate steel then the real tank they need to fabricate the illusion of the hull plates in the front and the back being scale thickness, they weld up some extra plates to make a box that makes the plates "thicker" problem on this build is that they went too wide with the thickener plate and gives the illusion that the side armor plates on the lower hull are over a foot in thickness, the OP pic tank has this corrected and is at the correct thickness.

Also the headlight fenders, mudflaps and other small fittings are pretty basic and are not well reproduced

Saumur's Tiger I tank is potentially easily repairable to running condition. There's photographic evidence it was running in the fifties and has been in storage ever since. Engine is still there, though I fear some parts may have been cannibalised for their running Tiger II.
There's at least one other recoverable tiger I in such condition in the US. The rest of the surviving tigers are definitive wrecks, like the Vimoutiers one, which was sabotaged by its own crew setting off an internal explosion in the middle of the road to block it off after running out of fuel.

Don't know if these have been reported previously but the three photos show the Veluzat brothers mock up for some WW2 film that didn't get made.

Unfortunately requiring the butchery of a number of Grizzly "kangaroo" ex Portugesse army ex Canadian army. Ok many of the 50 or so turretless Grizzlies went for scrap, but I do wonder about the value of this, particulary with advanced CGI.

This is a replica of the World War II Panzer III organization called Kampfgruppe von Rybus fans of World War II tanks in the super fans in the M113 armored truck chassis built on the basis, replication is III Ausf J-type (PzKpfw III Ausf J). Panzer Division III car produced in all copies of the most exquisite, a maximum degree of reduction, part of a site in place of transformation (note its driving wheels and the idler wheels). The only downside is that it is only five road wheel.

and the finished tank, (1 of 3)

Story goes the guy who built it went around all over bogs junkyards and metal detecting all over Europe and was able to get enough parts to build 3 tigers. One is in munster, one is for himself and I think the other is for a production company. all 3 are late patterns

This is like looking at one of the bubba cringe threads where you see a Johnson M1941 all AR'd up complete with garden hose stock

Fuck I hate some ppl
>>
>>29502020
Your not wrong. But the replica still comes amazingly close without having to set up your own factory equipment.

Honestly it will be great to see replicas in the future when they can manufacturer exact parts with 3D metal printers.
