Id recomend a xds9. Cocking indicator/loaded chamber indicator can be seen and felt. 7+1 flush mag cap. Its got a light mount. 23oz. 3.3" barrel. Decent aftermarket. Full chamber support. Easy to take down.

Over the glock, it has a safety. A grip safety, one that doesnt require any forethought before shooting. Also, full chamber support, steel guide rods, cocking/chamber indicator.

Get a m&p shield with no saftey, don't get glock 43, if you must, get 19 or 26. Glock 43 6rds ain't worth it and the3rd party +1 baseplates May or may not hinder feeding reliability.
