I did some work in Africa and to be honest the tech support you can find in some remote parts of that continent is surprisingly good. Likely because Chinese tech companies invest so much money there.

I was in the middle of no where in Kenya on a security contract with a charity and my laptop kicked the bucket so I went to the "IT" shop in some shack with an Orange Mobile antenna and a diesel generator. Guy replaced a couple of things and it worked, picked it up the next day.

I was sketched out about leaving my computer but it was dead so i took the chance. It was a corporate laptop anyway so it cost my nothing and I just expensed the cost.

I would honestly trust Africans with my IT more than indians at this point. The magic they can do with cell phones over there is outstanding.
