Here's the ADS amphibious rifle.
It's ammunition is 5.45x39, and it can use specialty designed ammo that lets it have reasonable range and accuracy underwater.

Can I kill nigor?
Here's the older APS rifle.
It uses bolts, and has around the same range underwater as the ADS.

SPP-1 underwater pistol
It has a shorter range than the rifles, but is obviously more compact and appears like it's cheaper and easier to produce.

H&K P-11 underwater pistol.
This five barreled pistol also uses bolts and like the SPP-1 has a shorter range than rifles. It's even bigger and bulkier than it looks, but it's advantages over the SPP-1 at a glance appear to be ease of reloading, magazine capacity, and polymer construction- a great way to limit rust given its intended purpose.

Unfortunately, I can't find any pictures of American underwater firearms.
In my research I found out that gyrojets were tested and found to be too inaccurate.
I also recall reading about sunken concrete fortifications with torpedo turrets during WW2, I can't recall but I think the Japanese might have built them. If anyone knows more about this please let me know.
If it was real, that's absolutely GI Joe level stuff.

Is it just a small bolt with a sabot?
Thank you both for the contribution to the thread.
What kind of barrel does the older ADS have?
>>29488401
yep, it is a 5.45 dart with a 9mm sabot
here is a GSH-18 shooting that cartridge

OP here, I heard the huge magazine made the weapon unwieldy underwater because of drag. A lesson learned with the APS.
Bump by OP.
I made this thread thinking it would have potential to be something new.
I'm going to try to keep this bumped within the first five pages until later this evening.

Sending it back to H&K to be reloaded is easier?
