Seriously, why not? Its cheaper than 308 and has the same ballistic advantages.
Because I wash my grendel once a week. Every 6.5 days is too often.
>>29480556
They probably already own a .308 and make more than minimum wage, so the cost isn't that big of a deal.
>>29480556
bill alexander is a faggot, that's why.
it's a cartridge looking for a role.
>Not shooting 5.7 Gooch
>>29480637
I own 5.7 gooch too.
>Ignoring 45-110 Taint
>>29480556
But the only real semi atuo chambered in it is a ar15.
>>29480556
.308 175gr tmk have a higer BC than .264 123gr SMK
If I want a superior cartridge in 6.5 ill go creedmoor
Because i already own an ak in .308.

Youre thinking of grundle?
>>29480632
Bill released his trademark, so it's a SAAMI certified round now and no longer under his possession.
> Same ballistic advantages
> 66% of the bullet at slightly less velocity
Not inside useful hunting ranges it doesn't. And past 500m, I'd be looking at a magnum cartridge anyway.

>that'sthejoke.png
Because mags are STILL spotty as fuck. That's my only reason.
Because Grendel sound like a name a goblin would have and I don't like goblins
>>29480764
BC is deceptive. Most larger calibers will have a higher BC, but it's simply because of their SD rather than their form factor, and while SD is important, form factor is the measure of a bullets efficiency, and 6.5mm wins 9/10 times for that.

Grendel is the name of a dragon.
I don't use it because I heard that it wears barrels out quickly.

>Dragon
>not the demon spawn that would fuck drunk vikings in their sleep
>>29480556
If BCM made a 6.5 AR I'd buy it

>Grendel is the name of a dragon.
no

He was a dragon in my translation
What the fuck
>>29486516
I think you're just confused m8. Grendel is the original monster/demon/whatever that is the initial foe of Beowulf. There is a dragon in the story as well, but it comes after Grendel in the latter half that also includes Grendel's mother.
